Okay good work! But now you've got to decide what you want your sig to look like when it's done. It could be very simple or it could be an expanding box sig (like Cajek's: • <->), an expanding text sig (like VGD's: ), something a bit more like mine or something non expanding and pretty (P.M., WotM, & GUN, Sir Led Balloon (Tick Tock) (Contribs)). It could even be very simple (like Finnius': ). So what do you want? Or of course, it oculd be nothing like any of them! So much, choice, 'eh? - 16:41 12 May Sir FSt. (QotF BFF NotM) YTTE
- Oh you started there by yourself! Good work, you're getting the hang of things! - 17:00 12 May Sir FSt. (QotF BFF NotM) YTTE
- So what's next on our list dad? --Qua 17:21, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
- Well son, we haven't quite finished here. We just need to tweak it a bit (I must say I'm most impressed with what you've made there) and then it get it working. Using a bit of preferences trickery. Next on our list, after that, however is the bigger job of making a pwetty user page and then talk page...And after that we can talk a bit about writing and stuff and then I'll read you a bedtime story, sound good? - 17:24 12 May Sir FSt. (QotF BFF NotM) YTTE
- Good work, I see you've started using it! Did you do that by putting into "raw signature" in your preferences? There, is, however a slightly better way of doing this, if you feel like it. The way I'm suggesting would let you control what the date looks like. Here's an example:
<small>{{subst:CURRENTTIME}}, {{subst:CURRENTDAY}} {{subst:CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{subst:CURRENTYEAR}}</small> {{User:Qua/sig}}
. See you can then replace those "small" tags with whatever formatting you want to make the date/time look pretty as well and once you've done that you can just copy and paste it all intoPreferences -> Signature
(but make sure raw signature is checked). When you've done that you should sign with 3 tidles, like so: ~~~. - 07:08 13 May Sir FSt. (QotF BFF NotM) YTTE
