A New Home[edit | edit source]

Given the Zombie-Magnet Properties of the Carner Hotel, it has been decided upon(via IRC), that we will be relocating. I have found a great area, on the border between Rolt Heights and Gibsonton. There are several EHB Buildings. Map(look at the border between the suburbs) The specific buildings are:

  • The Henson Museum(86,20) - VSB, graffiti'ed as such. Please leave unlit, as it attracts Zombies. This building is an entry point/hideout for those without the Free Running Skill.
  • The Eades Building(87,20) - EHB, graffiti'ed as such. Please leave unlit. Hide here if you have Free Running.
  • A Factory(88,20) - EHB, Lit. Don't sleep here, but it has toolboxes, etc.
  • Mylrea Walk PD(89,20). EHB, Lit. Don't sleep here, just run for ammo.
  • The Patterson Building(NecroTech)(81,20) - The NT building is a walk, but it won't ATTRACT ZEDS like the Vetch did.
  • St Arnold's Hospital(84,20) - FAKs. Lit. Don't sleep there.
  • Silverius General Hospital(83,19) - FAKS. Lit. Don't sleep there.

Contributing factors to the like-ability of these buildings is that the majority of buildings to the NW are lit, so they attract zombies. WHAT? Yes, this is good. They go AWAY from us, and use those guys as meatshields instead. YAY! Also, Dowdney Mall is only 10AP away, and it is currently well-maintained. Also, Dowdney mall is at least 10AP away, so that's 10AP the zeds have to use to get to us. I'll be in the area.     EugeneKay wuz here (whine thank)      03:36, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

I don't use EHB buildings, sorry. Marshal Uncyclopedian! Talk to me!
So Use The Henson Museum, and quit whining about it. Then buy free running and play along.     EugeneKay wuz here (whine thank)      21:02, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
I was not whining. By the way, don't make me turn this into Talk:Incompleteness Theorum. Marshal Uncyclopedian! Talk to me!

I'm just wondering if any zed player reads this and decides we ould taste good(maybe because that zed player is EDian). I'm just pondering, y'know, you never know! Also, I think that's a great idea! --Trar (talk|contribs|grueslayer) Mchammer.gif 14:46, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

That's why we use multiple buildings. --Lt. High Gen. Grue The Few The Proud, The Marines 21:03, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
The henson has a couple zombies, leaving the VSB building out of safe use. And I have no free running. Which is a problem. Marshal Uncyclopedian! Talk to me!
I'm liking the idea of moving, I mean an EHB PD I was in got totaly raped last night and The amount of zeds around are going to start causing major problems i think... --BonSig.png (Bonner) (Talk) 13:39, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

I have a question[edit | edit source]

Can you have more than one group in your group box thingy in your profile? Because I saw High Gen. Grue had two groups in his groups box, and I was wondering how he could do that without having his group listed as GROUP1, GROUP2, instead saying he was in two separate groups. Please answer! --Trar (talk|contribs|grueslayer) Mchammer.gif 20:23, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

I PM'd you on IRC. --Lt. High Gen. Grue The Few The Proud, The Marines 20:59, 2 August 2007 (UTC) COMPLETE --BonSig.png (Bonner) (Talk).

Locate a Base[edit | edit source]

We need to find a base! ASAP! Me and Kingkitty are currently walkin over to The Billingham Hotel, in Heytown. If you are too far to make it, or you have a better idea, Don't be afraid to tell us! --Lt. High Gen. Grue The Few The Proud, The Marines 16:56, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

Cordinates of the above are 72, 35. Ж Kalir, Awesome Author(alliteration affords additional awesome) 17:14, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

If you can't make it, or need help, send a call! Someone will come. Eventually. Probably when you die. --Lt. High Gen. Grue The Few The Proud, The Marines 00:18, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

We'll need to either get Free Running or smash the barricades to VSB++2 if we want to hide in The Billingham Motel! And by the looks of it, we'll need to smash the barricades, and spraypaint that we need to keep the barricades at VSB++2 in order to house low-level survivors and us(until we all have Free Running, in that case keep the barricades at VSB++2 anyway, for low-level users). --Trar (talk|contribs|grueslayer) Mchammer.gif 18:30, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

MISSION COMPLETE. Like, a good while ago. Ж Kalir, Awesome Author(alliteration affords additional awesome) 21:42, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

A Suggestion[edit | edit source]

Seeing as The Carner Hotel has now fallen; I suggest we all join up, Rebuild our Ap to full then launch an attack to re-take and re-build the Carner --BonSig.png (Bonner) (Talk) 17:41, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

A Dire situation[edit | edit source]

If we must, and I mean must, run away from Carner Hotel... I suggest The Sinclair Motel and The Love Building in Pescodside. They can easily be reached... we can even use both. But ONLY as a last resort. Why? scince these to buildings are next to the same Police Station, For ammo and an entry point, though the Pescodside 'cade plan needes EHB... we'll need Free Running... --Lt. High Gen. Grue The Few The Proud, The Marines 20:46, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

Carner has fallen?! I WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS! --Trar (talk|contribs|grueslayer) Mchammer.gif 11:52, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
You just noticed? --Lt. High Gen. Grue The Few The Proud, The Marines 20:59, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
Take the Carner back. I can't get Free Running yet. Marshal Uncyclopedian! Talk to me!

Emergency![edit | edit source]

We need to get out of Heytown NOW. If you check here, you'll see that Heytown is in the red zone. Suggest moving into Gibsonton? --Trar (talk|contribs|grueslayer) Mchammer.gif 12:46, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

Also, Dowdney Mall is under attack by LUE, at least that's what i'm getting from the radio. --Trar (talk|contribs|grueslayer) Mchammer.gif 12:51, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

I have one thing to say: Crap. Wait, why Gibsonton? --Lt. High Gen. Grue The Few The Proud, The Marines 16:28, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

  • I Agree...Wouldn't Santlerville Be A Better Choice As Its Designated A "Green Zone" On Your Map--BonSig.png (Bonner) (Talk). 16:45, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
Ahh Good Point --BonSig.png (Bonner) (Talk). 16:59, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

Situation has cooled!

Latest news in Heytown says the Situation has cooled, and we're no longer in th red. WE could either go to Kalir's location, seeing as he's not moving the fuc away from that spot. Or we could bash Trar. --Lt. High Gen. Grue The Few The Proud, The Marines 15:09, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Uh negative, the police station I was in...well it's barricades got knocked down by a dozen zombies :<
COOLED, not GONE AWAY. There are still many zombies in Heytown, but not mobs of 150+ --Lt. High Gen. Grue The Few The Proud, The Marines 15:25, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

MISSION COMPLETE. Not that this was really a mission, per se. Ж Kalir, Awesome Author(alliteration affords additional awesome) 21:42, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Regarding our neighbors[edit | edit source]

Does anyone know the status of the Vetch Building [93,26]? Wiki has it as ransacked, but it hasn't updated in half a month. If things start to get hairy there, there could be a problem. —Hinoa talk.kun 06:26, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

So far as I know all is fine there but anyone who is in the carner hotel; could you go and check next door?--BonSig.png (Bonner) (Talk). 10:32, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
I checked it out today. They're lightly 'caded, but all else is fine. --Lt. High Gen. Grue The Few The Proud, The Marines 16:25, 3 August 2007 (UTC) COMPLETE --BonSig.png (Bonner) (Talk). 10:15, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Where is our base[edit | edit source]

What is our current base, and what suburb is it in? Marshal Uncyclopedian! Talk to me!

Carner Hotel in Dunningwood. Very pro-survivor, it seems. Ж Kalir, Awesome Author(alliteration affords additional awesome) 21:42, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
Sorry, but it would take days going through dangerous zones for me to get there. I am in Lerwill Heights. quite far from Dunningwood. Marshal Uncyclopedian! Talk to me!
Get killed and turn into a Zombie. No, seriously. Since the areas are Dangerous to humans, it's safer for Zpmbies. You can get revived back to a human at Carner. I might be able to recieve the skill needed when you get there. --Lt. High Gen. Grue The Few The Proud, The Marines 01:17, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

Is Kalir still with us?[edit | edit source]

Just wondering. --Trar (talk|contribs|grueslayer) Mchammer.gif 01:20, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

...yes... --Lt. High Gen. Grue The Few The Proud, The Marines 01:22, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
Then why is "The Uncyclopedian Forces" missing from his group affiliations box? Also, if someone could link THEDUDEMAN's actual profile to replace the one there(it isn't a real profile, it's an example profile), it would be appreciated. --Trar (talk|contribs|grueslayer) Mchammer.gif 01:29, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
I got it. Never noticed that it messed up before though. --General And Min. THEDUDEMANSucrose b.gif 21:40, 6 August 2007 (UTC) SORTED --BonSig.png (Bonner) (Talk). 16:23, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Radio Transmiters and you[edit | edit source]

Do we really need a Radio Transmitter right now? Cause 2/3 FDs I searched were unsafe with no 'cades. And I am not steepin' into a wall just for a Radio Transmitter. --Lt. High Gen. Grue The Few The Proud, The Marines 03:21, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

APB: Survivor possibly in distress[edit | edit source]

At the warehouse 2N 1E of Carner, there is a survivor outside sharing a square with a single zed. I was able to deal 5 damage to the zed before retreating due to AP, but that could mean trouble. Please assist if you are so inclined. —Hinoa talk.kun 22:47, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

I checked; He's safe for the moment --BonSig.png (Bonner) (Talk). 10:16, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Help![edit | edit source]

I think i'm infected :S My Hp is going down but i'm not being told it is. I'm down to 25 Hp and in the fire department 1N of the carner. if anyone has a FAK i'd be incredibley grateful :) --BonSig.png (Bonner) (Talk). 16:23, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Welll, crap in a hat. I don't have any FAKs, but if we can't help you, can revive you If you can play a Zombie for a week. --Lt. High Gen. Grue The Few The Proud, The Marines 16:53, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
Damn :( I'm not getting dead again if i can help it. I'll raid the nearest Hospital when i've rebuilt my Ap --BonSig.png (Bonner) (Talk). 22:04, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Right...[edit | edit source]

Seeing as a homicidal manic ran into Carner and kill two of us... I suggest we Over barricade Move to a new location Be careful, and be ready in case of PK. Also, bonner and MudkipsV, meet me tomorrow outside FD 1 North of Carner. I'll revive ya. --Lt. High Gen. Grue The Few The Proud, The Marines 19:17, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

YAAARGH[edit | edit source]

Anyone wanna help me decrease Morley Walk's barricades? Right now, I can't get out, and I very much want to. —Hinoa talk.kun 16:07, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Tried just clicking on an adjacent block? Ж Kalir, Awesome Author(alliteration affords additional awesome) 19:00, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
The reason I am dead is because Morley Walk PD was over-barricaded! And I didn't have enough AP to get to an entry point! ASSHOLES! --Trar (talk|contribs|grueslayer) Mchammer.gif 23:05, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Guys...[edit | edit source]

Maybe the reason our key places are being over-'caded is because someone is against us? Think John Caine. We may be hunted. --Trar (talk|contribs|grueslayer) Mchammer.gif 23:12, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

You're extrapolating from an isolated incident. Take off the tinfoil hat and come get these depressants. Ж Kalir, Awesome Author(alliteration affords additional awesome) 23:27, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
Trar:You are a nut. You're fucking LOONEY! Heh heh... anyways, seriously, buildings are over-barricaded EVERYWHERE, ALL THE TIME. And if we *were* hunted, would he stop at furrymudkipsking and Admiral Bonner? --Lt. High Gen. Grue The Few The Proud, The Marines 23:43, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
I just think its the ignorance of the local survivor population; they're not sticking to the local barricade plan. I nearly got screwed over yesterday because someone had 'caded a police department to EHB and I had about 3 AP and nowhere to hide. Although i can't think of any ways to stop people doing this --BonSig.png (Bonner) (Talk). 10:06, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

Multiple-Buildings Idea[edit | edit source]

I know there's been a bunch of problems with over-barricading. I have written a letter to the Cult of the Stuffed Crocodile, the other major group in Dunningwood(They have all those buildings with the crocodile stuff in them), asking them to please not over-barricade. However, I have a suggestion.

Looking at the Dunningwood Barricade Plan on the wiki, I see a few buildings in close proximity to us that are listed as EHB. In particular are The Harper Building(91,25 1NW of Carner, currently VSB, EHB in the plan), which has an un-fuelled generator in it, and The Corp Boulevard Railway Station(92,24 2N of Carner, currently EHB, EHB in plan), which is of no significance at all. As such, I propose that we use The Harper Building as a location for our radio transmitter, and the Railroad station as an EHB sleeping-spot.

As such, we can leave Carner at VSB++, at leave it un-powered, so as not to attract zombies. Those without free running can sleep here, and we can use it as an entry point, along with the However, despite the EHB, The Harper Building should not be used to sleep in, as it will have a zombie-magnet in it. The logic here is that a zombie can break down the cades, find that there is nobody in, and will just leave the genny alone, because there is nobody to eat.

Following this same logic(use Carner as a base/Free-Run entry point), we can setup a zombie research area(revive point, but don't tell Kalir) in the roads south of Carner/Vetch building. Any suggestions/arguments/support/hate?     EugeneKay wuz here (whine thank)      20:04, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

He's banned at the moment, but Bonner supports the idea.
But zombies can smash generators. They gain XP from it, and it generally hampers the harmans efforts to survive. Which is what zombies want. We should have a few high-level-well-armed guards there. --Trar (talk|contribs|grueslayer) Mchammer.gif 22:07, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, who will promptly be eaten unless they are constantly paying attention. So, it is recommended NOT to hang out there unless you feel like being a snack. But the idea is good, otherwise?     EugeneKay wuz here (whine thank)      00:49, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
Also, I just took a sojourn up to the local auto repair joint. I've scored a fuel can. If somebody can come up with a radio, we can get it up and running in The Harper Building in no time flat.     EugeneKay wuz here (whine thank)      02:09, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
Guys, I hate to spoil the party, but both 1 and 2 NW of Carner (Harper Bldg. and Brentnall Walk School) were wide open when I got there. Instead of bitching over 'cades that are too high, why not repair 'cades that are too low? I'm gonna get Construction next skill I get, so I'll start with that. —Hinoa talk.kun 05:53, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
I was plannig on getting construction after Free Runnig too. Are you reading my mind? --Lt. High Gen. Grue The Few The Proud, The Marines 06:02, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
I have Free Running, and Construction. They were at VSB/EHB when I went by there the other day. Looks like a zombie broke in and trashed the generator - its gone now. Oh well, it happens.     EugeneKay wuz here (whine thank)      21:10, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

The Uncyclopedian Corpses[edit | edit source]

Given the fact that we're all(well, a few of us) extremely addicted to Urban Dead, we've decided to create a second group for alts. This group is The Uncyclopedian Corpses. The Corpses will be completely separate(as in, across town) from the Forces, and will be dead(whereas the Forces are alive... usually). This way, we're definitely not cheating - the two teams are serving opposite ends of the fight. Head on over to The Corpse Homepage for more information, and join up!     EugeneKay wuz here (whine thank)   00:04, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

Going around?[edit | edit source]

It was discussed on IRC that we shouldn't just be a bunch of wankers standing around in a building, hiding from the zeds. Instead, we should be a bunch of wankers running around and getting eaten and trying to hide from the zeds!

So, any ideas for missions? Somebody(Mitch methinks) suggested going to help take back a mall, but there are other possibilities.     EugeneKay wuz here (whine thank)   00:04, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

We should be brave. We should be free...to blow stuff up! First step: Kill stuff, get me a shotgun. Kill. Kill. Kill. Find a zone to be protectors of. Blow zombies up. Marshal Uncyclopedian! Talk to me!
I wanna go help out at a fort. My dude is getting quite adept at killing shit now so... --BonSig.png (Bonner) (Talk) 17:49, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
