I am only campaigning for one article this year. And that is Wall Street Crash of 1929. I think it's my favorite article I've written. It's long but consistent, and uses unedited images and captions very effectively. The jokes aren't forced or random, and there are no cliches anywhere. Please read it! If you vote for just one STM article for Top 10, please make it Wall Street Crash of 1929. Although I can't say I wouldn't mind if you voted for my other articles, too. -- 04:18, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- (Water Polo... With Sharks, Coffee, First Gradeism). And Do NOT vote for any Captain Obviouses! He has enough votes. -- §. | WotM | PLS | T | C | A 04:56, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- Whoring? For shame! (/me says knowing full well me would've done the same thing a mere month ago). Though I do agree w/the Capt Obvious thing; we should've had ten fors and ten againsts to help damp out the crazies.--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 06:54, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- No kidding.
- “It's rainy here.”

- That is one of the Top 10 leaders? —rc (t) 07:26, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- There seems to be a sort of runaway thing going on on the top 10 page- there are so many of the buggers people can't remember what all the articles were like, and so their attention is caught by the ones with a lot of votes already, leading them to read and vote for them; that's the only way I can really understand Captain Obvious being in the lead right now, because while I think it's a good article, there have definitely been better ones this year. Or maybe not. --Sir Jam 10:54, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- Next year: secret ballot.--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 10:59, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

"...as more and more people killed themselves or died trying." Man, I completely forgot how good that article was! (I mean, is.) It's my new #4! Thanks, advertising! --L 12:59, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
