I got bored sometime either in 2020 or 2021, and tried to find websites to read to pass the time. I then stumbled across Uncyclopedia likely by accident. I never thought much of the site until I started editing a different wiki, and decided to register here on the Fork for no real reason. I then got banned from said different wiki, and decided to start being active here as a sort of replacement for that. I can't remember exactly. I think I was reading stuff on Wikipedia about wikis. I definitely found Uncyc by accident. Very happy accident :) MrX blow me 06:01, 23 December 2022 (UTC)

I was making these dumb, but fun articles in my sandbox on Wikipedia, and somebody deleted all of that (luckily I saved them on a Google Doc). After that I just looked up parody sites to Wikipedia and found this glorious website. I'm glad I found this place, though. Bad Motherfucker GET FUCKED!

Hmm I see, interesting. Yeah I can see why they were deleted, Wikipedia's not a webhost. Honestly, I'm amazed that we're seriously showing up on Google as a parody to Wikipedia, but great! Microsoft for POTUS (talk) 01:51, 24 December 2022 (UTC)

I was working the graveyard shift at a hospital doing 1:1's w/disoriented and suicidal patients. The computer on wheels wouldn't allow me to go to many, many websites. A Facebook friend posted an image of a Valentine's Day candy was generated with her name on it. I researched candy generators, found 'fake sign generators', found a fake newspaper article generator, and I wrote a fake newspaper article about me doing artificial respiration on a llama at a petting zoo & saving its life. I used the printer at the nurse's station to make two print outs, tore the edges off to make them look rough, quietly hung them in the ICU & Telemetry Floor bulletin boards, left in the morning & didn't answer my phone all day. Apparently news of my heroics spread throughout the entire hospital, went to the Operations Director for Telemetry, The Operations Director for Critical Care Services, and of course by then everyone else, Charge Nurses, etc.

I returned apparently a hero and was being batted around as being the Employee of the Year for the entire hospital. I put the kabash on it at that point but by then I was hooked. I looked for fake news websites & voila, UnCyclopedia & UnNews. True story. Saddleback Memorial Medical Center in Laguna Hills, California, USA. Smuggler 03:28, 24 December 2022 (UTC)
