Welcome![edit source]

Welcome to Uncyclopedia! Make yourself comfortable. Want a Coke to go with these peanuts?

Hello, Solskinn9, and welcome to Uncyclopedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for people like you:

If you read anything at all, make it the above three links. If you want to find out more about Uncyclopedia or need more help with something, try these:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being an Uncyclopedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~) or use the "sign" button (Button sig.png) above the edit box. This will automatically produce your name and the date.

At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Solskinn9/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.

If the current colonization doesn't suit your fancy, then browse our rewrite and idea categories. We have lots of articles just sitting around for someone to improve, so don't be afraid - dive right in!

We also have an impressive amount of rules that you should read, it'll take a couple of days at least. Then, you can reward yourself with our Welcome Party for Noobs!

If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. Simply leave a message on an adopter's talkpage to join. Again, welcome!  --‎ Talk Mattsnow 16:02, April 15, 2012 (UTC)

Pee Reviews[edit source]

Since you're obviously new, can you NOT do any Pee Reviews for the moment? A Ree Review needs to be more than a one word dismissal of another writer's work. The idea is to offer encouragement if you think the article is going in the right direction and constructive criticism if you think it is not. If you want to see how they should be done, look at other examples before trying again. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 21:15, April 15, 2012 (UTC)

In addition to what Romartus said... From the Pee page itself... "Alternatively reviewers can make brief comments on the page above the table, providing suggestions on improvement or useful advice. Adding brief comments will keep the review in the queue of waiting reviews so that other people can still see it. If you wish to do a full review (using the table) please make sure that you have thoroughly read the the Guidelines. Please don't fill out the table unless you have. When a full review has been given the review will be removed from the queue." -- Almost like I wrote that myself or something. MrN MrN9000SouthParksmall.jpg 21:19, Apr 15
What they said, but with more sexual innuendo. Nominally Humane! 04:27 16 Apr

Talk page etiquette[edit source]

It's one of those unwritten rules that you don't delete other comments off of talk pages. Keep in mind that the comments above aren't meant as a criticism, but as a polite request. It's great that you're feeling excited about getting involved, but one step at a time. You can "archive" your talk page if you like, or <!-- comment out --> the previous comments, but please don't delete them. Nominally Humane! 03:21 23 Jul
