I deleted two of the quotes you had to start the article as neither made any sense and were not related to what you were trying to write about. Nearly every single page I've visited on this website has had a reasonably unrelated quote at the top, usually from Oscar Wilde. I can't put them up now that they're deleted, but thanks anyway. Could you explain what I need to do so that you will remove the tags then? Because the little explanation link was of no use at all. The page links to several topics closely related to Homme, and is therefore not a dead end, and it's not completely random seeing as it has his birthplace, birth date, marital status, age he learnt guitar, age he started a band, the various bands he's in and has been a part of, his close friends, his signature model guitar, his incident with the assault on frontman of the dwarves and his restraining order, his incident with a crowd member in Norway, the article contains several genuine quotes from him, locations of his performances, photos, accurate descriptions of events and the dates they took place. Fair points. Actually I had in mind categories rather than links which you did provide. I will have to see if there is a category tag just for that. Regards the quotes, I know you will see a lot of Oscar Wilde/Chuck Norris but that was already old hat when I first turned up. My own view is that a quote should somehow link to the content of the article. I couldn't see where Barack Obama and Oreos fitted in there. Fair enough, thank you for your help, and for informing me of the reasons behind removing the quotes, but one more question if it's not too much as I don't quite understand this part; "if you add something about yourself on the talk page, your signature Ksand503 will link back so that other people can find and talk to you" what do I add? And by talk page, is it the page I'm currently seeing this conversation on? Or do I need to create a user page (Which is the message I'm receiving when I click on my username, however i don't wish to accidentally create a page about myself as 1. It seems quite arrogant and 2. I believe this website doesn't allow such narcissism anyway, much appreciated! --Ksand503 (talk) 10:09, December 21, 2012 (UTC)

The user is page is in fact the one place you can be a narcissist. As long as you don't stick shock images, porn, bullying other users or linking off to websites that send out a lot of spam, you will be ok. Some contributors like to list what they like/have got published here etc. Others just put a single word on there. All it does is it will turn you name on forums from red to blue.
