At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Ivoire/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.
If the current colonization doesn't suit your fancy, then browse our rewrite and idea categories. We have lots of articles just sitting around for someone to improve, so don't be afraid - dive right in!
We also have an impressive amount of rules that you should read, it'll take a couple of days at least. Then, you can reward yourself with our Welcome Party for Noobs!
If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. Simply leave a message on an adopter's talkpage to join. Again, welcome! -- Mattsnow 15:39, 3 January 2014 (UTC)

Template:Beep[edit source]
Hello, your Beep-template is currently on QVFD, under deletion, because I don't see any point in having it. What purpose it holds on the korean uncyclopedia where you seem to have taken it from? And what purpose it holds here? Unless you can answer that, it will be most likely deleted. Thanks. 10:01, 5 January, 2014 (UTC)
- Oh.. I'll be more careful. Thank you. --Ivoire (talk) 10:22, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
- We use the template {{C}} (for "censored") here for the same purpose; I recommend against it, because it looks ugly. Just so you know, the more accurate word would be "bleep". :D ~ Sun, Jan 5 '14 12:21 (UTC)
Your userpage[edit source]
That's an impressive bit of code you've got there, but if you want to use a different image for the logo a nice short way to do it is to say {{#setlogo:<insert image name here>}}. Hope this helps. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 03:03, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
