About the quotes

Hey, it's great that you wanna add quotes to pages, but is there any chance you could not put the same quote everywhere? It gets kinda repetitive. And by kinda i mean very. 00:32, 11 March 2024 (UTC)

This is not repetitive, since it is put in different articles.

That's not the definition of repetitive. And it very much is. You've put the exact same quote in at least a dozen articles. Only difference between them are the people saying it. 21:52, 11 March 2024 (UTC)

There are a lot of repetitive in-jokes in uncyclopedia and that's not necessarily a bad thing. For example, the numerous quotes from Oscar Wilde. Conspi (talk) 08:56, 12 March 2024 (UTC)

Those two aren't really comparable. Having the same guy in quotes everywhere is repetitive, sure, but way less so purely because he (most likely) says something different each time. When lots of different people have the same quote that doesn't add anything placed on their articles it gets repetitive. 23:16, 12 March 2024 (UTC)

Nineteen Eighty-Four

Hey so I've seen you've added a whole new section to the 1984 page. My problem is, that was a featured article already, and I'm pretty sure featured articles are often not to be touched too much. Then again, a lot of featured articles do have changed significantly since they were first featured; but your contribution also seems a bit strange, as:

1. The whole 'topics' thing is probably already covered in 'plot',
2. The new section doesn't go that well with the flow of the rest of the article, and
3. The new stuff doesn't seem to be really humorous, more so than it is simply an opinionated analysis of the book.

Just letting you know this because I'm thinking that maybe the section should be removed from the article, but I'm not that sure, so you might convince me otherwise. DaniPine3 (talk) 19:01, 18 November 2024 (UTC)

On Wikipedia there are two separate sections "Plot" y "Themes".

Yea, but this isn't Wikipedia and does not have to have the same sections. I'm pretty sure Wikipedia doesn't have a 'Comparison between Nineteen Eighty-Four and Uncyclopedia' section like Uncyclopedia has. And as I said before, your new contributions to the article seem too factual and not that funny for a satirical wiki. In fact, I'd say it has more potential to be in Wikipedia than here.
