Hello, and welcome to the Family's little secret, uh, treasury! Our special-a secret, huh? You tell no one else, eh? Or you die very slow-a like, kapiche? Bueno, bueno! Here we list ever Mafioso's account - including all their transactions. Below-a their is a little section on how to get money and what to do with it once you have it. I hope-a you find it useful. If you think there is something wrong with your funds then please contact the Mafia's Don or the highest ranking Mafioso you know.
How To Get-A Funds
Each Mafioso is given a gift of $200 at the beginning of their Mafia career. Below is a quick summary of the various ways of earning money...
- Getting a Featured Article - $100k
- "Encouraging" Someone To Join The Family - $50k
- Adopting And Feeding A Noob - 20k
- Every 30 New Headers* On Your Talkpage Earn You $1k
- Helping Out A Noob At The Family's Tasks Page - $5k x the number of contributions the user had made at the time of asking their question/submitting their task.
- Helping Out The Mafia, Looking After Places, Creating Useful New Mafia Pages etc. - Between $1k and $1000k
You may only receive money for actions you started and completed after this Mafia scheme was established (21st of August 2008) - although the Don may allow some backdating.
*The 30 headers must not be created by you and must not be "assisted" by you in anyway, users must NOT be encouraged to create new headers for the sake of it.
What To Spend Your Dough On
So you got your nice thick rolls of dough twisted between your grimy, fat fingers...but what can you do with all these dollars? Well, the obvious answer, is donate to the Mafia. You may donate the normal $1 to the Mafia without your account being charged. 300k of donations will earn you a promotion.
The Don - possibly with a few collaborators - will be getting together some prestigious Mafia honour templates and listing them here. These presitigious templates will be up for sale, but will also be given to deserving Mafioso. There may even be a few that can't be bought! That would be funny, no?
Types of Account
- Chairman Account - A professional administration account
- Can release new money into the market.
- Can manage other accounts.
- Must monitor all transactions for legality.
- Helps keep the system running.
- Receives a fixed $1000 on the first of every month.
- Financial Gainings Account - An account to keep your interest flowing
- Gives away interest on the first of every month.
- Helps keep the system running.
- Monitors transactions for legality.
- Gets as much cash as the donation center.
- Receives a fixed $1000 on the first of every month plus whatever was added to the donation center.
- Black Hat Account - A moderation account
- May maintain the Family treasury.
- May monitor transactions and report to Chariman Accounts.
- May keep an eye out.
- Receives a fixed $800 on the first of every month.
- Soft Hat Account - A special account for hard hitting Mafioso
- May withdraw and deposit cash freely.
- Receives 10% interest on the first of every month.
- May pay $10,000 to upgrade to a Black Hat Account.
- Maximum of $1,000,000 in the account.
- Henchman Account - The basic Mafioso account
- $10,000 cap on withdrawals in a day.
- Recieves 6% interest on the first of every month.
- May pay $6,000 to upgrade to a Soft Hat Account.
- Maximum of $100,000 in the account.
- Mafioso General Account - A simple way to horde cash
- $5,000 cap on withdrawals in a day.
- May pay $10,000 to upgrade to a Henchman Account.
- No limit to money held in the account.
- Mafioso Saver Account - The account for the honest gangster who wants to save for something nice
- Costs $3,000 to establish.
- Receives 20% interest on the first of every month.
- No limit to money held in the account.
- A maximum of $10,000 may be withdrawn every two months.
