I'm thinking we need to start a little 'chopper's ed. To that end, I'm going to be starting a subpage called "American 'Chopper", where I'll take you through the process of creating some images, from finding sources to editing techniques, to polishing. Any ideas on topics it should cover, or other ways we can do some educational material? R 14:12, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

How about a tutorial where you cover the basics? I'm sure that there will be different tutorials for people who own GIMP and don't have Photoshop? --General Insineratehymn 01:11, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
sxc.hu is nice stock-image site. Registration is free, and the quality is high. -- The Zombiebaron 16:24, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
I'm not about to go there. You think I'm stupid? --General Insineratehymn 16:54, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

Well, I'm not. So there. --General Insineratehymn 01:21, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

American 'Chopper is Up[edit | edit source]

The first installment is here! Check it out! The Last Porchesian (Holla!) 19:55, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

Cool. I'd be more help...but I'm the odd man out here; I use neither GIMP nor Photoshop. Mostly I just try to help out on Reefer Desk by giving general tips on howto 'chop, rather than tool specific tips. Also, it's fun to confuse people by using different terminology. --Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 09:23, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
