The Amerikan Empire, also known as the New Order or Bush's New Order, was the World government established by President George Bush to replace the Amerikan Republic.
The Republic, which had lasted for almost 450 years, ended following a period of intense political turmoil and the devastation of the Gulf Wars. After General Grievous was defeated at the Battle of Baghdad, and while the leaders of the Confederacy of United Nations were being killed in Iraq by Darth Benedict XVI, Supreme President Bush declared himself Emperor of America and reorganized the American Republic into the first American Empire.

Origin[edit | edit source]
The Empire can be said to have begun with the scheming aspiration of George Dubya Bush of Megatexas, whose alter ego was the Sith Lord Darth Bush. Using the Trade Federation as a pawn to blockade Megatexas, he used manipulation of the crisis to instigate a Vote of No Confidence in Chancellor Al Gore, and ultimately to become Chancellor himself. When his apprentice, Darth Cheney, was killed by Obi-Wan Hussein in Megatexas, Bush took on the former Jedi Count Jeb as his new apprentice. Count Jeb then joined with Iraq, Afghanistan and others to form the Confederacy of iRaq. This group, known as Apple, ignited a war with the American Republic known as the Gulf Wars.
Bush was an efficient and effective leader who quickly brought to an end the corruption in the Senate; his power was greatly increased as a result of the Gulf Wars as the Senate willingly seceded more and more emergency powers to Bush. Eventually, the Senate lost most of its power and became little more than a formality that Bush had to go through to pass his laws. Yet the Senate did have a symbolic power at least; Chancellor Bush still hid behind the pomp and circumstance of appealing to the Senate, but his power existed in his control over thousands of Senators that he had brought into his own web of corruption. However, Tony Blair discovered that Bush was a Sith Lord, and a Jedi task force attempted to arrest him. After a brief duel, Bush pretended to be defeated. With the sudden appearance of Blair helping perpetuate this deception, Blair demanded the "defeated" Sith Lord to not be killed. Deeply troubled, Blair nonetheless helped Bush invade Iraq, and thus became the Emperor's new apprentice, Darth Vader. Bush then proceeded to carry out the Great Jedi Purge, which eliminated thousands of Jedi, and had Darth Vader eliminate the Separatist leaders in the firey country of Iraq, thus bringing an end to the GulfWars. Secure in his power and position, Bush used the false Jedi rebellion to issue the Declaration of a New Order and declared himself Emperor in 2009 AD.
Many people of the new Empire enthusiastically supported the vision outlined in the Declaration of a New Order, largely due to the violence that had plagued America for so long. Many Senators wholeheartedly supported the new government while a number of more cautious senators chose to watch and wait to see how the new government would handle the affairs of state. It promised to trade frailty for strength, chaos for order, and uncertainty for decisiveness. In retrospect, the foundation of the Empire had already been set down during Bush's chancellorship and all potential threats eliminated; therefore, the transition from Republic to Empire was relatively smooth.
It is important to note that not all of the Senators liked what they saw. In fact, the Petition of 2012 sought to bring the worries of these Senators to Bush. Bush's dismissal of their concerns was one factor that led to the founding of the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
Imperialization[edit | edit source]
With the rise of the Empire, all the institutions of the old Republic found themselves either dismantled or changed beyond recognition. There was a riot of renaming all things "Imperial" to glorify the new Emperor: overnight, New York State was renamed the Imperial State, and New York City itself was renamed the Imperial City. The Galactic Senate became the Imperial Senate. United States Army became the Imperial Army, and the United States Navy became the Imperial Navy. The four decrepit intelligence agencies of the Republic were merged into Imperial Intelligence, with the former CIA director at its head. The White House was rebuilt and expanded, becoming the Imperial House, eclipsing all other buildings in the Imperial City.
America itself became the Imperial Nation, while North America became the Imperial Continent and the Americas themselves became the Imperial Supercontinent, with Earth becoming the Imperial Planet with the moon becoming the Imperial Satellite and the International Space Station becoming the Imperial Space Base. At least seven-thousand newborns within the week were named "Imperie" or "Empie". The name "Bushie" became the most common name in the empire in honour of Emperor George himself.
Within the month, there were few names left to remind the people that there had ever been a Republic.
During the first few years of the Empire, the World saw the single largest military buildup in history. A council was established to more efficiently govern individual states and counties of the Empire. Popular support for the policies of Bush's administration was high.
Although this attempted totalitarian regime remained weak, it was continually strengthening until the break-up of the Empire in 2042.
The Dark Times[edit | edit source]
The Emperor saw the respected Canucks as a threat to his New Order, so he ordered the devastation of their homeland Canada. A group of infiltrators were responsible for sabotaging Canadas's armed forces, leaving the country vulnerable to Imperial atomic bombardment. The once beautiful country was devastated during this attack, turned into a poisoned wasteland. The peaceful Canucks were dispersed throughout the planet. In 2010, the Emperor constructed the superweapon Eye of Bush in order to use it to destroy a Jedi enclave in Britain. However, the deadly superweapon was sabotaged by two Jedi Knights and the Jedi in Britain managed to escape.
Around the same time, a group of beings were protesting the tyranny of the American Empire in Georgia in the New Caucasia state. One of the Empire's planes was blocked by peaceful protesters who stood in the landing area of the airport and refused to move. With implied permission from Bush, the plane was landed anyway, right on the protestors, injuring and killing many. This came to be known as the Georgia Massacre. The Alliance to Restore the Republic was founded in its wake.
Many Jedi also rebelled against Bush's regime. A group of Jedi attempted to restart the Jedi Council but were unsuccessful. The group fled to Kyrgyzstan in the Stan state to find out if any Jedi survived there but instead launched a massive takeover of the county. Darth Vader killed them. A Wookiee among them, named Jewbacca, fled the county to find his family. Many Jedi caused havoc in Imperial controlled countries including a rebellion in of Bulgaria, the two break-ins of the destroyed Jedi Temple in California, and the destruction of an Imperial Garrison and Weapon Munitions Center in Vietnam. Their fate after these events are currently unknown. In Kazakhstan, a group of Jedi planned to draw Darth Vader into a trap and kill him. Everyone of them were killed. However, Vader's suit was damaged.
In 2027, the Emperor and Vader were the targets of a attempted coup by a group of treacherous Imperial officers who saw the Sith as foolish and archaic, and believed that the Empire should not be ruled by a two-man cult. They planned to use a batch of altered stormtroopers loyal only to them to destroy the two Sith Lords. However, their plot failed in part because of internal fighting between the co-conspirators.
