LodAbuption I hope you understand I nominated it because it was a good hurricane article and better to have a hurricane feature then none. Tired of random stuff getting featured but not this. I don't know if anything could/should be improved. I don't think I have anything to add. The article has some good light humor, a few decent jokes, and I enjoyed it. But it wasn't quite LOL humor, and I won't vote for featuring it. We have a lot of good, short articles with decent light humor that are fine just the way they are, even though they aren't feature-worthy. Furthermore, I don't know why you keep thinking that we "need" to have a featured interstate or hurricane article. BTW, I did receive this ping and will note it in the forum. I just think it is good to diversify our Main Page a bit, but I will probably will inquire Cassie to see if it is VFH-worthy.

Well, if you really want a featured road article then work hard at it. Grind away the unnecessary/unfunny parts and find a unified theme for the article. It isn't as easy as it sometimes looks. I (and probably other editors too) sometimes spend over an hour working at a single edit. Stop putting random articles you know are trash on VFH and watch them fail. Improve them.
