| Humour: | 7 | There were some funny parts like the first line and the GTA V section, which I liked a lot. The one issue I have is that the article relies too much on bluntly saying she is stupid or bad. What the article lacks is subtlety, which is necessary to make an article like this work. The “Awards and nominations” and “Mixtapes” sections seemed more harsh than funny (although the “Listen to my mixtape instead!” did make me giggle). If you state that the stuff sucks more indirectly, it will work a lot better. Also, the refception joke was kind of random in my opinion so I would cut that. I really did a lot of the article though. It was just a little too mean-spirited. |
| Concept: | 6 | The concept was basically “Lindsay Lohan” sucks, which can work, but, as I said before, it needs to be more subtle. There’s two ways to do a “This thing sucks” article. Take something that doesn’t really suck and be super extreme or take something that you actually think sucks and mock it without directly saying that it sucks. I think you want to do the latter. |
| Prose and formatting: | 8 | The grammar and everything checks out. There are maybe a few too many references though. |
| Images: | 7 | The images are good although they don’t really match the text entirely. Those last two images have captions related to Lohan’s sex appeal, something that is never mentioned in the main article. |
| Miscellaneous: | 7 | Average of scores. |
| Final Score: | 35 | Not bad. It just needs to be more subtle. That’s not to say I don’t like it because I do think it’s good. I just think it has the potential to be great and I know if you work on it, it will be. :) |
