Looks like we still got some "Bad Blood" on our hands.

After baiting her former bestie and undercover Buffalo Bills fan Hailee Steinfeld into challenging her into a Celebrity Deathmatch, singer, mega-celebrity, and noted Kansas City Chiefs "fan-bassador" Taylor Swift will have an official date set for her bout of fisty-cups against Steinfeld: during the halftime show of the upcoming AFC Championship Game between the Bills and Chiefs. As their boyfriends Travis Kelce and Josh Allen do battle on the gridiron, the former "girlfraaans" will do battle in an octagon setup in the middle of the field during the intermission.

Since co-starring in Swift's "Bad Blood" music video, Steinfeld went from only having True Grit and yet another remake of "Romeo and Juliet" on her resume to appearing in several other films such as the Pitch Perfect series, appearing as Bumblebee's human sidekick, playing a lesbian Emily Dickinson, and voicing practically every likeable, non-Mary Sue female superhero such as Spider-Gwen and Vi from League of Legends. She is also a part-time singer, but her music, while underrated, has not gotten the rave media attention as Swift's music for obvious reasons. Steinfeld's latest work includes appearing as Hawkeye's new sidekick in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Edging Seventeen, even getting her man Josh Allen to propose to her.

True to her form, Steinfeld tried to keep the upcoming deathmatch, but Swift wanted extra publicity, especially after becoming bored once her Eras tour ended. Conspiracy theorists also speculate that the NFL was pushing for some extra entertainment value by scheduling the Swift-Steinfeld brawl during a highly-touted playoff game.

Despite the inevitable media coverage and smack talk, both Swift and Steinfeld tried to play it down. "I'm not too worried about it, although I'll give Taylor some props. She's the biggest music star in the game," stated Steinfeld during a pre-fight press conference. "I do wonder if they'll let me use the customized Vi gauntlets that Netflix gifted me for my work on Arcane. Could definitely pack a punch with those things as they're actual weapons."

"Hailee was so sweet back then!" gushed Swift when asked about her prior working relationship with Steinfeld during her own press conference. "I definitely knew she had it in her to become one of Hollywood's rising stars. She's grown up so much! Maybe one day she'll reach my level."

Despite the cordial statements, Stein-fans and Bills Mafia have interpreted some bad blood and backhanded compliments with Swift's statements, and Swifties, Chiefs Kingdom, and all bandwagon NFL fans have accused Steinfeld of being "jealous" of Swift's reign as the "biggest pop sensation" on the planet. According to TMZ, Swift and Steinfeld were spotted getting into a catfight when running into each other earlier this week, which only ended when their entourages had to separate the two women.

Should the Bills-Chiefs game turn into another snoozefest ruined by biased officiating, NFL fans are sure to be treated to a feisty alternative during halftime.
