Legendary British actor Sir Ian McKellen is reportedly furious at Uncyclopedia for using his image on their front page for Valentine's Day - and spelling his surname wrong.
"I am an avid reader of Uncyclopedia," said McKellen, who has played both Gandalf and Magneto and so entered into the sexual fantasies of almost all Uncyclopedians.
"I used to read the Wikia page, but then I noticed most of the gay Uncyclopedians had moved over here with Frosty, and anyway, the UnNews here is much more gay. (See below.)
"So imagine the scene. I was in my pink bathrobe in my sprawling Beverley Hills Mansion, surrounded by oiled Valentine's stripograms, and I was chortling over the front page. I was just about to send old Frosticles a Whatsapp, about how I would so be the taker if it was a question of me and Monsieur Freeman.
"But then my eyes trailed down to the bottom of the page. I suppose I wanted to see if Zombiebaron had done that weird thing where the names of the actors are inverted... and I saw he had spelt my name wrong."
The 74-year-old reportedly "threw a 20-minute tantrum" and immediately took a full page ad out in Hollywood rag Variety explaining the spelling of his name and featuring ways to spell it.
"When I was young, my classmates called me Ian McBellend, and although that was very hurtful and homophobic, you can remember that you can't spell 'bell-end' without 'ellen'. Another way to think of it is to remember famous lesbian Ellen Degeneres. Although to be fair, I don't really like lesbians."
