Talk:Megadeth
60.229.169.14[edit source]
Quit blanking out the page! Me and a buddy of mine from the Megadeth forums worked hard, so stop fucking with it! I'm a true fan of the band (I play in a Megadeth tribute band) so don't think that this page is being made by Metallica fanboys and people who hate Megadeth, so cool yer fuk'n jets there Junior... LinkTGF
um, this is uncylopedia, why does it matter if it stays completely true? you deleted what me and MY buddy contributed in the interest of making this largely stupid(truthful) article funny : (
Hey "Big Fan" Looks like you forgot a piece of the Megadeth Discography in your parody, ever heard of "Hidden Treasures"? That album between "Youthinasia" and "Cryptic Writings"?
Well, don't worry I added it for you.
Editing[edit source]
if you're gonna edit an album name or something, please be consistant cuz everything is kinda interwoven here :) LinkTGF

- I feel like I'm running out of steam. I plan to listen to the entire Megadeth discography from start to finish today, but it would also help if someone here
gave me some constructive feedback and/or inspirationkicked my ass to get back to work. --monika 20:37, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
After some time off for super busy work schedule (and traveling to see Gigantour), I'm back on this. It's ~2/3rds done, but I want to save pee review until it's more done, if possible without me going crazy more. So I'll give here one more shot. Any feedback, anyone?
Some specific questions:
- Little birthday tags after the names - like or don't like? I can't decide.
- Should I add "main article" tags for people who don't actually have main articles? (ex. Chris Poland, Gar Samuelson...)
Oh fuck, I'm running late to work. I might ask more questions later.

Hey, What?[edit source]
This article used to rock, didnt it once have a long list of album names and song titles, eg. Piss Smells... But Whos Sniffing? why is it now so small and weedy, like lars ulrichs cock? why dammit
Shut up, fag[edit source]
This article is the funniest thing I've encountered on Uncyclopedia, the writer certainly made good use of Mustaine humor.
Can we get this locked?--Realturka 09:21, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
- Speaking of things that usually happen when things are featured and things that only admins can do, can we also get the VFH tag swapped to a featured tag? Thanks, --monika 21:31, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
- (That was my fault. I was distracting said person with stupid requests about custom images and shit. (The article still has a VFH tag instead of a featured tag.)) --monika 21:39, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, all is right with the world. Thanks everyone involved in making all right with the world. --monika 21:40, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
who ever re-wrote this[edit source]
needs funny lessons. this shit almost sounds like a wikipedia article, with a tad bit of sarcasm. i like the band pictures tho. that IS funny.
- I've signed up for funny lessons, but there's a waitlist several months long. I'll rewrite the article to your specifications in September '24. Please be patient. --monika 11:13, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
- thank you thats all i ask for! lmao.
- In the mean time, may I suggest you entertain yourself by participating in some Megadeth-centric gambling? There's probably less waiting involved. --monika 22:33, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
- thank you thats all i ask for! lmao.
article = ruined[edit source]
OMG!!! who the hell changed this article so much? seriously! This article used to actually be funny but now its just plain, old, rootin'-tootin', crazy, southern, Texas beef, karaoke style dull. bring back the old article with the awesome discography and band history. not this crazy character synopsis stuff.
- That's yer opinion, and yer entitled to it. Thing is, quite a few people (including me) thought this version was "article = improved", and liked it enough to make it a featured article - so how 'bout we chalk this one up to "different people have different senses of humour" and go about our day, huh? --UU - natter 13:20, Sep 28
- i guess so... i did get a bit cranky. its just that this used to be one of my favorite pages ever then it pretty much just disappeared and was completely different. can the person editing this at least bring back the discography from the old page. just mainly becouse this one doesn't have one
- Hmm, TBH, discographies don't tend to last long around here much these days, largely because people don't like lists. However, as you've asked nicely, I'll see what I can do without affecting the state of the article too much. --UU - natter 13:31, Sep 28
- There ya go - one discography. It doesn't really fit with the style of the rest of the page, but if people find it funny enough, I guess we need to keep it around, so I linked it from the article. Hope that's good enough. Now, I'm off to listen to Hangar 18 again. --UU - natter 13:42, Sep 28
- Changed the format of the link. Any objections? Also, Mr. 124.176.46.75, if you like the discography section, you might enjoy expanding it. By expanding it, I don't mean "adding more titles and years", I mean "adding information about the albums so the discography is more fleshed out and realistic." --monika 17:26, September 28, 2009 (UTC)
- hmmm... good idea.

Woo, Ellefson's back![edit source]
Reckon he'll stick around long enough to make it onstage at Download this summer? --UU - natter 11:38, Feb 9
- David has the best track record for putting up with Dave's crap. I'm expecting this to last. Then again, I'm irrational when it comes to Megadeth. Once I've finished the touch-ups, you should enter the lineup pool :) --monika 18:11, February 9, 2010 (UTC)
