UnGames:Pick Up the Phone Booth and Aisle/xphonebooth

"How odd" you think, "A phonebooth... that is unusual..."

Intrigued by such an apparently out-of-place object, you approach the phonebooth to examine it- on first inspection it appears to be a regular, smooth, shiny phonebooth.

You lean a little closer

The metal surface of the phonebooth's side is, in fact, quite rough and scratched, and not the perfectly smooth surface it first appeared to be.

You lean a little closer

Now it is clear that the metal is made up of billions of plates of molecules, which actually fit together in a lattice pattern, and there is another layer of order amongst the chaos.

You lean a little closer

You see the individual atoms of the iron- vaguely defined shells of electrons with tiny nuclei at their centres. It occurs to you that the size of what you are seeing is far smaller than the wavelength of a visible-light photon, and you suddenly feel a unity with your surrounding, and a profound sense of meaning emanating from the phonebooth.

You lean a little closer

Each particle is made up of yet smaller, surprisingly brightly coloured particles labeled with "up", "down", "charm" and various other nonsensical words.

You lean a little closer

The image of particles suddenly resolves itself into an even smaller-scale image... and you see everything is formed by strings and points, 1-dimensional and 0-dimensional respectively, the resonance of which creates all mass and force.

You lean a little closer

Something like this. Well, actually, nothing like this, but you get the idea. Well, no you don't, but it doesn't really matter.

Every bit of space, even outside the phonebooth is made up of unimaginable dimensions folded and coiled in on themselves, a manifold of reality.

You lean a little closer

Suddenly, everything is one, and one is nothing. Within the tiny, folded dimensions there is a tiny white blip, and you know that this is the universe.

You lean a little closer

Galaxies resolve themselves out of the clusters of light.

You lean a little closer

In one spiral galaxy you focus on a single arm.

You lean a little closer

A star system comes into view, 8 planets(or maybe 9 or 10... depends what you call a planet) orbiting an white-yellow star.

You lean a little closer

The third one out comes into view, blue, green and white. You are awed by the smallness of this lump of rock, and its loneliness amongst the vast tracts of emptiness surrounding it.

You lean a little closer

On one piece of land a city becomes apparent.

You lean a little closer

A shopping centre...

You lean a little closer

An aisle...

You lean a little closer

A phonebooth...

You lean a little closer

You see yourself, staring into the side of the phonebooth. Entirely humbled by your knowledge of your place in the universe, and at the same time your total one-ness with it, you pause for a moment's reflection.

You lean a little closer

Oh no! You have been crushed by your own impossibly colossal nose! Luckily, the universe implodes under the strain of illogicality a moment later, so you're saved from the embarassment.

You feel so powerful after picking up that mysterious phone booth and the bottom of the aisle with it. The woman loves you now, your wallet is suddenly filled with cash, and your acne has cleared up forever!

That's right:

*** You have won ***

Oh no! It turns out that was just some aliens playing a trick on you from their flying saucer!

Whilst your rosy sense of achievement has distracted you, they have taken the opportunity to quickly suck out your gastric juices with a telescopic bendy straw! In other words, you just lost The Game.

Late Thursday night. You've had a hard day and the last thing you need is this: shopping. Luckily, the place is pretty empty and you're progressing rapidly.

On to the next aisle.

The aisle stretches to the north, and back to the south. The shelves on either side of you block your view of the rest of the supermarket, with only the brightly colored aisle markers visible.

You have stopped your trolley next to the pasta section, bright plastic bags full of pale skin-tone shapes.

There is a brunette woman a few meters ahead, filling her trolley with sauces.

A shiny metal phone booth sits in the center of the aisle.
