I don't understand: why are there two Uncyclopedias (uncyclopedia.wikia.com and uncyclopedia.co) ?! Which one is "real" or "active" one?

Ps. Please answer as soon as possible

Hey! Good question. In 2005 Uncyclopedia was founded as a small wiki hosted on severs run by our founders. The site grew quickly and soon other hosting solutions were required. Chronarion ended up selling our original domain (uncyclopedia.org) to WikiCities (which became Wikia) under the condition that WikiCities would not interfere with our community. Over time though Wikia wanted to make money off of us, because hosting a giant vulgar wiki for free wasn't feasible for them. The first big change was when they changed the domain to include their name, which resulted in a large portion of the community just walking away from the site in disgust. Later they added "Spotlights", began enforcing strict censorship of nudity, and then the final straw which was a warning page that warned visitors to the site that what they were about to see was something terrible. For years the community would complain and moan but we could never find a solution to the problems Wikia was making for us. So in January 2012, after over half a year of work by a handful of computery people, the majority of the active userbase moved to uncyclopedia.co. The original plan was to shut down uncyclopedia.wikia.com, however Wikia would not allow this. The Wikia site is currently run by a handful of people that mostly didn't get along with the rest of the community and were overjoyed when we left. At uncyclopedia.co the community has absolute power over our content and how it is presented to the world. Uncyclopedia.co is the real Uncyclopedia. -- The Zombiebaron 22:09, 27 June 2015 (UTC)

They can ask me at the other site. I have no intention of raking over old battles here. Suffice to say, there are two Uncyclopedias. One hosted by Wikia and the other hosted by yourselves. But what if they don't want to visit the other site? This is a public forum and if you've got something to say just say it. Walking into a room and saying "Hey I disagree with this guy, everyone follow me into a room in a completely separate building so I can talk about why" is pretty weird, even on the internet. I think everything I said above is indisputable historical fact, if you disagree I think this is the place for it. You seem a touch sensitive ZB, why do you want to re-fight old battles? Some left for here, some stayed at Wikia and lot more drifted away all together. Nor had the Fork any right to 'shut down' the Wikia hosted Uncyclopedia and those who preferred to stay there. So it goes, there are now two when there was once one. If I'm being sensitive then it's only because you just basically came out of nowhere and started criticizing me for what appears to be no reason. I don't recall fighting in any battles. What really stands out in my memory is a tragic series of miscommunications between the side of the community that uses IRC and knew about the impending move over a year before it happened, and the side of the community that refused to use IRC. We were afraid that Wikia would attempt to sabotage our move, so we kept all details of it off of their servers. By the time we posted in the Village Dump about the move we had already spent months of our lives working on organizing it, and anybody who came into #uncyclopedia knew that. Emotions ran high and I personally felt pretty insulted and disgusted by some of things that were done by the people who chose to stay with Wikia, which resulted in me reluctantly turning my back completely on that side of the community. I criticised your assertion that there is only one Uncyclopedia. I accept there are two uncyclopedias and that the community split. Since your stated intention (see above) was to close down the Wikia site, not surprisingly those who chose to stay there were the ones who came under pressure to join the stampede or quit all together from all things Uncyclopedia. Hi Romartus. I hope you realise that by repeatedly wading into this kind of thing it not only displays your own insecurities about the splits but it also needlessly creates drama, which you claim to dislike (although I do see you doing it around here often). I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a constructive edit from you on en.uncyclopedia.co and as such I’d suggest you stop editing here, stop watching this site for moments to butt in and start a flame war and just continue editing the wikia side constructively as you do. You do not see me trying to correct spike for example, with his assertions on his talkpage that we and the original creators of uncyclopedia are all “trolls”, it is pointless, would create drama and would not be helpful.
