  3. Symbol declined.svg Against. Arthur is a nice enough guy and seems to be very knowledgeable when it comes to copyrights and templates, but he's only been around for 2 weeks on both the wiki and our Discord. I don't think activity should be a requirement for administrative tools, but considering he very openly brags about his recent attempts at trolling Uncyclowikia (Uncyclofandom?) and Uncyclopedia 2.0 (lol), and all signs point to him being responsible for a handful of failed attempts at anonymously stirring up drama in our forums, I don't think we should be giving this person any sort of authority on the site. 4. Zombieche-vote.png Against I would like to give Arthur more time to integrate into our community before we begin trusting him with the gold plated mops. Since joining our community in the middle of last month Arthur has been helpfully providing legal consultations for us on discord, and if this sort of thing continues I can see him becoming an integral part of the administrative team. However, it is extremely troubling to me that he brags so openly about his past of unrepentant trolling on other wiki projects. There is also the matter of Arthur being an admin on our new competitor wiki, Uncyclopedia 2.0, and the conflicts of interest that may arise from that position. Overall I think it would be best to wait until we've all gotten to know Arthur a bit better before promoting him. -- The Zombiebaron 05:58, 3 February 2019 (UTC)

  6. Symbol declined.svg Against. Adminning is a bigger responsibility than most people think it is to begin with. And it is no less important than writing and editing articles. Sure, joke bans can be fun, but that isn't all there is to it. Adminning, like driving, involves a lot of decision-making, and requires good judgment. It is kind of like driving - you don't let an eight-year-old get behind the wheel. (Unless it is only in your backyard and you don't mind the eight year old running over a head of chard...but that's a story for another day.) You also don't issue a driver's license to someone who hasn't gone through the training, doesn't already have their learner's permit, and hasn't passed the test. Likewise, it is important to be familiar with the community and the community standards before becoming an admin. -- Simsilikesims(♀UN) Talk here. 23:06, 3 February 2019 (UTC)
  7. Symbol declined.svg Against. Arthur has only been around for a very short period of time and while I do appreciate that he wants to help and get involved, the fact he has openly bragged about trolling and being banned from other wikis is concerning to say the least. I do believe that people can change and maybe Arthur is on the right track. For now though I think it would be premature to promote Arthur, but maybe once he's been around for a bit, gotten to know everybody and keeps out of trouble then I'd be happy to support him next time around. -- Lost Labyrinth It's Britain bitch! As an alternative to all of this, I have instead blocked Arthur forever for the following:

  • Vandalism (somewhere)
  • Sockpuppetry (all over, plus an example)
  • Bragging about disrupting other projects (especially on discord)
  • Disrupting various projects (wikipedia, wikia uncyclopedia, others, and on discord)
  • Attempting to incite disruption locally and across various projects (everywhere)
  • Impersonating other users (here as well as users from here elsewhere, and possibly visa versa, who knows)
  • Being a navel-gazing unfunny twat

Folks have already included links for some of this above; if you really care I'm sure someone can dredge up more. I don't, and also I'm supposed to be working right now, so good day. -— Lyrithya 11:08, 4 February 2019 (UTC)
