Using an android phone, I can't load the original web version of wikia any more. I click 'full site' and it comes up with the mobile site again. All I can do in the mobile skin is create pages but not edit them. Is this some new wikia thing or is Angry Birds sabotaging everything actually entertaining you can do with a smart phone? --Nikau 13:28, January 25, 2012 (UTC)

Been having a similar problem with iPhone. I have to click on full site 3 or 4 times until it finally decides to switch over. The mobile site does some terrible things to the layout of articles too. If we can disable the mobile site altogether I'd be happier. Pup 01:53 26 Jan '12

Description of issue:

I am unable to remove the mobile skin and return to the full site for Uncyclopedia. It has been difficult to do it for a while (takes several attempts to get to full site) but as of today I haven't been able to do it at all.

Thanks for contacting Wikia. We appreciate you letting us know about this problem with the mobile screen. We can confirm there is an issue with the "full site" mode. Our engineers are working on it and it is a high priority to fix ASAP. So check back in a couple of hours and hopefully it will be patched at that time.

Assuming they do fix it, but keep the URL method of fixing in place, it will make life easier for me. It used to go to full site via a cookie and reload, now it's via URL (http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Whatever_page?useskin=wikia) which I'm assuming would allow me to save my watch list bookmark with the ?useskin=wikia tail and avoid mobile site altogether. issue happened again this morning, and seems to have been resolved, however it kept trying to send me to http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/index.php?useskin=oasis It was scary. If we can set up our own mobile skin I'd be very grateful. (Hint hint admin with access to site js hint hint.) Pup 10:54 28 Feb '12
