As a decidedly low-tech but quite cost-effective way of getting more votes on VFH, I am introducing a policy (of mine) which states that "You, Ljlego, shall make a meaningless edit to the pages Uncyclopedia:VFH and Uncyclopedia:VFH/summary at least once and preferably more times per day." This is to address Modus' concern that with VFH on watchlists, more got done.

We can do that too, but as far as I know, there's no reason not to overcompensate for a problem. Anyway, I know for a fact the one thing people always look at is the watchlist. Speaking of shutting up, Spang: just because you couldn't give two shits less about VFH or VFP doesn't mean we should let them go to pot. VFP is a place that could use some traffic being drummed up. VFH is getting to a point where we're featuring articles at 10. Both need traffic. There's already a massive ugly template on the front page urging people to vote, and if that doesn't help, why would putting links in the sidebar help? It definitely hasn't helped for Pee Review. It's already been shown that uncyclopedia has less users than it did before, it's only to be expected that there's less votes. Perhaps a better solution would be for people to be nicer to new users (automatic welcome templates don't count as being nice) so we actually get more people? And I'm not the one telling people VFH isn't working - I don't think it needs fixed at all. VFH is just a system to choose good articles to put on the front page, it's doing exactly what it should be doing. The number of voters makes no difference, as each nomination will still get the same proportion of votes. The good nominations are still being chosen over the less good ones, and that's all it needs to do. If you still think your nominations deserve more votes, we can switch to featuring once every two days again easily. Old VFD

Before this new style VFD (ie. when it was like VFD), which seemingly pointlessly makes the whole thing a real pain in the cat, didn't more people used to vote? I know I used to. Then again I was mostly drunk mAttlobster. (hello) 16:38, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

VFD = VFH? Well, to be honest with you, I can't see any difference at all between the old VFH and the new VFH pages. There still is the edit section thing for votes, it still lists the tables. There's no difference. The difference is that you were more active then. In any case, it's been discussed (a move back to the old system), but then decided against it.

Old system: Go to Uncyclopedia:VFH. Click on link to article you haven't yet read. Read. Go back to VFH. Alternately you can click on the link in the VFH template. Click "edit section" on the correct section. Vote. Fin.

New system: Go to Uncyclopedia:VFH. Click on link to article you haven't yet read. Read. Go back to VFH. Alternately you can click on the link in the VFH template.
