Welcome fellow Bostonian! Whereabouts? --epynephrin 03:45, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
- Dude. Backbay! I'm in the vicinity. Northeastern Student. Yourself? --epynephrin 22:30, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
- Sweet deal. Good luck, and welcome to Uncyc. Let me know if there's anything you need.--epynephrin 21:57, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
- Why thank you! I will admit that User:Keitei asked me to do the one that was featured. It was for a special, Valentine's day reskin. Do feel free to add if you think of anything. --epynephrin 23:48, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

Let's see. Searching for Images: best way to do it is the advanced search. Click on the button under the search box that says "search" and it'll bring up a bunch of check boxes, you can uncheck everything that doesn't say "Image", and there's your image search. Alternately, you can look at Special:Newimages to see all the recent image uploads. Unfortunately, I don't know of a better way. --epynephrin 12:43, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Solid Gold[edit source]
Most of the criminal law side of Shari'a seems to lead to executions, sadly. Misogyny, floggings/beatings, executions. The civil side avoids the last part, at least (it makes up for it w/50% more misogyny...do a search for it sometime and count how many times the "How hard can I hit my wife?" question comes up). Still, the page seems to be getting a better reception than I thought; I hope it's worth it, as I'm sure that the esoteric research involved (to at least provide the veneer of accuracy) has, no doubt, put me on some sort of "list".
The "Mister Operandi, please come with us..." at the airport kind of list.--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 01:09, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
Or, to simplify things somewhat; the repetition was unintentional. That's just how Shari'a seems to work. Think of it as, at best, a "two strikes and you're out" system. (Granted, that's mangled a baseballism). --Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 02:05, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- I appreciate that the article is a satire of culture in the Middle East, but I didn't find it to be of "Uncyclopedia Featured Article" quality. A for effort, though. --Thetanmancan 02:31, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, and excuse my neurosis.--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 02:33, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
Apropos of Nothing[edit source]
I notice that on your userpage you need help w/formatting. While Uncyc's help is scattered in disarray (or at least it was when I joined last year), Wikipedia's is excellent. editing covers all the basics.
Beyond that I recommend that when you see a "trick" on a page that you like, hit "edit" to see how they did it.
Also, when you make a new, original page, put it under your name (a la [[User:Thetanmancan/Wookies]]). That'll save it from getting huffed before your done w/it.
I hope that helps. Mostly I learned formatting by reverse engineering other peoples' pages, but that help page should make things easier.--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 20:33, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

Wow... Thanks for voting for my article on VFH. Finally, my lack of volunteer work, failure to socialize outside of the interweb, and ugliness have paid off. Again, thanks! -- §. | WotM | PLS | T | C | A 06:35, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Thetanmancan/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.
If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. Simply put {{adoptme}} on your Userpage to join.
