I hope you enjoy editing here and being an Uncyclopedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~) or use the "sign" button () above the edit box. This will automatically produce your name and the date.

At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Lizbink/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.

If the current colonization doesn't suit your fancy, then browse our rewrite and idea categories. We have lots of articles just sitting around for someone to improve, so don't be afraid - dive right in!

We also have an impressive amount of rules that you should read, it'll take a couple of days at least. Then, you can reward yourself with our Welcome Party for Noobs!

If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. As one of the most important representatives of the uncyclopedia community...I am thrilled to be the first to tell you that you are totally UnWelcome here. The community is threatened by your quality edits so far and are worried that you will monopolize the featured article spaces in the future once you find your writing style. For this reason...it would be best that you back up everything on your computer before it randomly explodes for no apparant reason. If you still want to stay here after all of that...then my only advice is that you vote for every article I write and that you agree with everything I say on the forums. thanks very much ScrappyDOO, I'm humbled. I am feeling the pressure to BE FUNNY AND NOT JUST STUPID a tad, but I'm au fait with exploding computers after my mercury spillage, blind cat collision, broken fan and terminal teaspoon strike incident. So I know what to expect.

Ignore Matt, he's delusional. No,actually don't ignore him, delusional elephants can be quite hazardous, especially if you mention their obvious (to non-delusional animals) asymmetric tusks.
