At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Kelton2/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.
If the current colonization doesn't suit your fancy, then browse our rewrite and idea categories. We have lots of articles just sitting around for someone to improve, so don't be afraid - dive right in!
If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. Simply leave a message on an adopter's talkpage to join. Again, welcome! - 00:45, October 16, 2011 (UTC)

The Game[edit source]
Please go easy on the technique of "nonsense numbers." Everyone does this and everyone is bored with it. For more comedy tips, please browse through UN:HTBFANJS. Thanks. Spıke ¬ 22:01 12-Dec-12
- Ok, thanks. Won't edit right now because here in mexico it's very late at night, but I will keep that in mind in the future. Kelton2 (talk) 01:15, December 13, 2012 (UTC)
In my opinion, you have not gone easy on this technique. What you have done is logged off, removed {{WIP}} from the article and substituted an excuse, then logged back on and gone on to other things rather than the prompt repair of a bad article that you need to do. This strikes me as bad faith and I have recommended that Admins review you. Spıke ¬ 18:43 16-Dec-12
Happy Monkey Topic[edit source]
Your topic for the contest is The Aristocrats as written by William Shakespeare . You have specific instructions to only include Shakespeare characters which you are free to honour or not. It would be great if you did. You have 36 hours to write the article (until Friday 03.00 UTC/Thursday 9pm EST). If you want to make it unbook, unreview etc. you can very slightly alter the title. Remember the judging is on creativity and originality more than anything else. Have fun. In the mean time Happy Monkey is leaving various surprises all over your house. --ShabiDOO 14:52, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
