UnNews

Basically what I said to the other fellow - I've gone through the recent UnNews and tried to tidy up a bit, and that bear series was just a bit much, so I've moved most of them into your userspaces. Basically, they're very silly and just not very newslike. We generally try to keep vanity out of the things and make them look like actual news, and these didn't really do that, though you could probably fix them and move them if you wanted. I'd advise against it, given the nature of UnNews, however - rolling release, and all. Stuff that's already happened just isn't so important.

WTF? People don't usually huff UnNews, and to say something is "fitting". Huh? Reading those titles makes me want to read the pages. I actually came here to see if you've finished with Bill Hicks, I'd like to nom it for feature unless you want to polish the page some more. You've got it. I just read one of your Bear Unnews, heavy on names so it lost me early, but those above titles still intrique. Would you do me a favor and ask for them back in your user space, so Iz could read them (esp. the Arsonists and the Gaddafi stuff) Thanks. You're quite welcome, but it's deserved so no big deal. Hmmm, ask Socky, it's always fun to give him more work. Hee hee. We have some great new admins to go along with the previous admins, I'm enjoying seeing Romartus doing such a good job. I look forward to reading the stuff, and if the Bear one is any good (and it's hard to imagine a good polishing not making all of them good) no reason they can't be restored to the grown-ups table. That Libya fiasco, damn, the world just let "them" kill Gaddafi and chunks of his family for very little reason except that he had the most successful socialist nation up and running. Have read some of them and will get into them more when I log on next. Some really good stuff in there mixed with a bit too much vanity (I can see what L was saying, but what the hell, a little pruning or changing names. Like you, Funnybony and others, I tend to edit my non-feature stuff for months and years to get them into shape. Do you ride "Recent Changes"? Some people don't, so just asking.
