My Pee Review of Anne Hathaway[edit source]

Thank you very much for the review. I'll get back to it, and you, tomorrow, caught it just as I was aboutto turn off the laptop and get some sleep. Just wanted to say thanks, Aleister in Chains days of our lives, MMX

Before going to bed I added, in thanks, Ozzy Ozbourne to the list of people who lay in state in the Hall of Fame's rotunda in my article "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame", Ok, now to bed. Aleister in Chains Now, MMX
Made some changes, you certainly give good review. The photos had to be crowded in there because of photo-to-copy ratio, which I'll work on. The photo of the thin woman is fine, I'd say, because it looks like a model shoot of some kind so she knew what she was doing. The subject of anorexia is also, I would say, ok to focus on because it just points out that those who have the disease need to get help, which is what Hathaway does in the article. Took many of your suggestions and worked them in, thanks very much. Will work on some more of them. Romartus also helped with constructive criticism, and the photos and captions of Anne herself were his worthy addition. (never married to Mike Tyson, Tyson's loss, and no real anorexic movie, it fit in with the theme of method acting that the article hangs on) I can't wait to see Ozzy's page up for VFH, let me know when it's ready if you would like and I will gladly nominate it. Cheers, Aleister in Chains Day before tomorrow, MMX
Thanks for the comments. And the information, I googled Hathaway and anorexia and sure enough, people were worried about her a couple of years ago, she was mentioned in the same sentence as Keira Knightley, and I knew nothing about this or have a subconscious recall of it, either way that means that the prominent mention of it on the page is totally in context. I'll work on photo placement, its just that I don't have text enough to fit the photos in within context, but will try, even if more text comes (I actually added to the page since you saw it in an attempt to add more text). Other women, I believe, is ok here, because she is, in the article, playing a method actor able to almost morph into a role. She's also Michael J. Fox, a chimpanzee, and a little girl tied-to a tree in the article besides being the oven girl and skinny woman. And this is, of course, uncyclopeida, which is known for just making stuff up in a universe where anything goes, and that's what's fun about this place. Good luck on the review of Ozzy, has anyone picked it up yet? Judging from the comment below you've never done a review here before? Then, in all seriousness, I'm very lucky to have you do one for me, and an extremely good one. Honored. Aleister in Chains
OK, I removed the Mike Tyson stuff, the Michael J. Fox picture, did a new section for the Eva Braun film so the picture is now in context, and moved the chimp picture to the appropriate section. Probably close to finished, and thank you very much again. Aleister in Chains Ruby Tuesday, MMX
Thanks for your nice comment. Moved the pics, the problem may be I'm using a laptop and the placement looked fine, and haven't looked at it on a wide-screen since the rewrite. A good catch. On Ozzy, I see nobody has picked it up yet. It's such an in-depth and large piece, I', going to have to read it carefully. Something I noticed is the red-links, I don't know if you use real links or joke/research links, which is an easy way to get rid of them (The Mr,. Crowley one is easy, uncy has an Aleister Crowley article, which I haven't really looked at yet). Not to be too long here, thanks very much again. Aleister in Chains December 7, 1941
Ah, very good use of links in Ozzy, playful. Aleister in Chains Now, MMX

Dude. I saw that review. That was pretty darn good for someone who just joined. Keep it up, man. Necropaxx (T) {~} Thursday, 07:24, Jan 7 2010

Hathaway nominated[edit source]

"Anne Hathaway" is up on the VFH page, and I mentioned your very good pee review in the comment section. Thanks very much again, your help was important to its creation. On Ozzy, it looks like you and Spike are doing much good work. Spike is apparantly a Saint. Danks again, Al'ly McChains 13 Jan MMX

Hi, I've made even more edits on Hathaway, some fun additions. You suggested changing the opening picture, and I did that after an editor came up with some new ones (have stored the extra photos on the articles talk page). You've been making so many changes on Ozzy, maybe let me know if there's one particular section I can read and comment on instead of tackling the entire article as it changes. Thanks agai, Allah Unchained MLK Day, MMX

Pee Review Discussion: Ozzy[edit source]

Aleister in Chains[edit source]

Would be glad to go through it, not today but soon. On Ozzy, I'm not knowledgable about his music and life, and that would be good, actually, on a secondary review. I'll "make notes". Thanks again, Workin' away p.s. and on that vandal editor's stuff, you can just get rid of all of it if you remembrer what was your and what was 'his'. President's Day, MMX

Use of boldfacing

“The Table of Contents seems to be under control now, with the exception of two odd, fourth-level headings. But you've achieved this by replacing section headings with boldfaced lines. In a modern mark-up language like this, a better solution is to code what it is rather than how you want it to look--in this case, with an Unnumbered Heading, as I've done at the start of this paragraph. Separately, I don't think Ozzy deserves boldfacing throughout the article. This explicit boldfacing is done in the intro or the first time a new term (or name) is introduced.”

Will work it out. Ozzy wasn't boldfaced but a reference back to the page was inserted which results in the same thing. No problem, I can remove that syntax. [[User:F darkbladeus|~Darkblade]

“I am reaching my limit of familiarity with Ozzy and his bands. If you know a given anecdote to relate directly to some notorious incident in the real history, ignore the following: There still seems to be too much stuff that isn't obviously related to Ozzy but just to generally how funny it is to be a rock band and get stoned and laid after a concert. These are candidates for general trimming. For example, the band's introduction to cocaine is too long. ”

Reminder: I did not finish editing as I mentioned on your page, I just did the main big hitters like collapsing down headers and trimming the obvious things out, as well as removing the big sections you'd recommended. I spent most of the day doing that lol. I will work the rest as time permits! ~Darkblade

No problem

Sorry that read as though I thought your work was complete. I only wanted to pass you feedback as quickly as possible--which you can use as you see fit--not judge your performance. On your new message on my talk page, I'll reply there. Spıke ¬  17:17 11-Jan-10

It seems from your comments that the Pee Review was valuable. I was unaware when reviewing it that part of it was yours and part of it belonged to predecessors--and am glad not to know which is which; it enables a review in its totality and keeps you from taking anything personally. Dealing with Some Messing with a Page[edit source]

I'm a novice with some of the coding, but if a vandal or "bully" editor changes wholesale, you can just revert their entire edit chain. But you know, I don't even know how to do that and that's something I was going to practice (I think it's just a matter of changing the buttons to the left of the entry and then undiing the first entry, so it reverts to the entry either marked or the one above it, I've never done it!). ~Aleister

Gay person on Ozzy.com Site, My My What a Coinci-Dink[edit source]

Whoever was coming here to mess with the Ozzy page has been on the Ozzy.com site too, spamming topics and posting things that tie to this site.

On Ozzy.com there's a user who is literally mentally ill (he is criminally insane, living in Australia, has schizophrenia and other illnesses). He listens to death metal, and Korpiklani is a favorite band of his (see discussion below and the identity 'Korpilka'). It's my guess that because I called him on his $h!t there in several topics and amongst other Ozznoids he's coming on here and messing with the site, all very "innocently" of course. He's very immature. The guy put 8,000 posts on Ozzy.com in less than a year, fucking psycho.

A teen on Ozzy.com wrote a post about someone being killed near his house, and the user and another of his identities (some 666 character) started talking about shit I'm sure freaked this kid out. He being the good cop, 666 being the @sshole. Why? Cuz the guy doesn't like the kid for calling him a pedophile.

I removed a quote on this site about Ozzy having a thing for kangaroo's, from a long time past. I know he's been here.

On undoing a series of vandal edits, Aleister is right; click on History, select the date you want to go back to and you will view the article as of that date. Now click Edit--You will be warned that saving this will cancel everything done since. Please write a change summary that explains why you don't like the vandalism, because it's sometimes in the eye of the vandal.

There is a power called Revert; you don't have to be an Admin to have it, but I don't. Your desire not to hack to pieces the work that came before you is admirable in a newcomer, but also reminds me of fans of the Olympics. They are adamant that they want the games to be the best they can be, but just as adamant that it be all amateurs and no paid athletes. You can't have it both ways. My solution to this problem is to make changes sufficiently slowly and gradually that your predecessors have time either to assert themselves or to grow to trust your editing. If they don't come forward, you own it!

On a comment you made to Aleister regarding uncontrolled editing by AnonIPs, real Uncyclopedia users have a code of conduct, proudly unwritten but mostly based on identifying and working out disagreement in good faith. However, everyone on Earth is able to make edits, many of them don't speak English, much less edit skillfully, and about the only redress is banning access by a specific IP address, which is only done after evidence of overt malice, and which merely makes him move to a different public library). An article that is a particular target of AnonIPs can be protected so that only logged-in users can edit it. Spıke ¬

Thanks[edit source]

for helping put Anne Hathaway over the top and onto the main page. Your pee review and later comments brought the page up a couple of notches, and couldn't have done it without you. Appreicated. Aleister in Chains 16:15 15 Feb. MMX
