Uncyclopedia talk:Wikipedia
If I was humanoid, that would have brought a tear to my eye. In stead I made the appropriate whimpering sounds. It's that sort of thinking that will one day bring forth a mighty Federation of Planets.

Well I like it[edit source]
Seems a shame it's sat here in your user space. Any reason for that Led? I'm thinking of moving this somewhere else. Maybe not over the top of the current article, but I think there is room in this big old wiki for two articles about the same subject. We are not Wikipedia after all... It could be argued that the references to users on another wiki are in violation of... Oh, hang on, we don't have load of bullshit policies to quote all over the place. OK, well we do have a few, but I don't think you are breaking any of them here. How about we move this to "Wikipedia (something or other)". Possibly not something or other although... How about "Wikipedia (Go add a reference to Uncyc onto the Oscar Wilde Page)" I'm sure no one has thought of doing that. I'm joking (obviously). I wonder what would happen if I looked into these users and compared when they got banned from Uncyc, to the attitude they adopted towards the Uncyc wiki as a result. No, that would be pathetic and childish. Hang on... MrN 21:35, May 23
- Wow, I just noticed it was actually me who warned this troll [1] just before he was banned 2 days ago. Now I wonder what the guys at Wikipedia would think about someone who was trying to become an admin on Wikipedia trolling Uncyc... Shall I ask him what the procedure about that is on his talk page at Wikipedia? I do really want to vote for him to be a Sysop at Wikipedia, I just want it clarified. MrN 21:45, May 23
- Mostly I left it in userspace because I kinda felt like you had to read Otterathome's essay to get it. If you think it's mainspaceable, though, of course feel free to move it! I was thinking something along the lines of Uncyclopedia:Wikipedia links, as the page reads like an essay. - Don Leddy the Crunch (Nyah, see, nyah!) 22:04, May 23
- You mean Wikipedia links? Why would it go in Uncyclopedia:Anywhere? Also, yes. Taking into account what I personally consider to be one of the most important aspects of Uncyc, that of parodying Wikipedia I think there are few articles which are more suited for the Uncyc mainspace. You might need to be an Uncyc regular to get the joke, and perhaps this should be added to the In Jokes category. I'm not too bothered about the In Joke thing myself, but I will happily defend this articles right to be in the mainspace. MrN 22:21, May 23
- I was thinking about Uncyclopedia:No Reading Articles, which is a bit like this, being an essay intended to sound official and provide nothing other than humor. Too much, you think? - Don Leddy the Crunch (Nyah, see, nyah!) 22:48, May 23
- How's that? I think Lj was right to put Uncyclopedia:No Reading Articles in the Uncyclopedia namespace. That article is meta humour related to Uncyc itself. Kinda like what I'm planning to do with this.
- This article is a parody of a Wikipedia page, and so should be in the Uncyc mainspace. The name is just my current best suggestion, change it if you can think of something more appropriate. So long as it's in the mainspace I'm happy. MrN 23:33, May 23
- I dunno, I think the mention of Otterathome, a real user's name, borders on cyberbullying, which is pretty uncool. Maybe just Wikipedia (A lesson in external links)? - {User:TheLedBalloon/mobsig}} 23:42, May 23
