The Great Gig in the Sky[edit source]

Hello. I would like one Pee Review please.

I saw this, read it, and considered doing a review. However, I really can't say much about it, other than it's fucking awesome and that I love it. If I were to give you a review, this would probably score 47/50, easy, with sure 10s in concept and images. I'm VFHing this. I am also now obligated to mention by semi-tradition (if nothing else) that if you were to join *cough cough* my usergroup, you would get credit for rewriting this. So yeah. —Unführer Guildy Ritter von Guildensternenstein 19:59, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

Finished writing my review and then read Guildy's comment. Sounds like it's a fairly well shared perspective then. Oh, and you should join *cough cough* this usergoup. Except that it isn't one. Pup t 23:45, 31/07/2009

Humour: 9 I laughed throughout. Even for those that have no knowledge of The Great Gig in the sky would have to be utterly dense to not have picked up on the point of this. It was cleverly done, brilliant links.

I haven't got anything constructive that I could add to it, except potentially the "hyperlinks" on the left that weren't links could possibly have been given different names, but that's a suggestion for suggestions sake, as the names that you have are fine, just potentially redundant.

Concept: 10 There is nothing that I can add on this. It is a master stroke. The idea, the choice of the song, the set-up, the visualisation, all exactly what it needed to work.
Prose and formatting: 9 Okay, two things I'm going to suggest here; first is to move the FA template to the talk page, as that does weaken the joke somewhat. Unfortunately that would also weaken the achievement. Well, not really, but I'm sure you'd feel better seeing that on your work. (I wouldn't know that feeling. Sigh!) Maybe it could be made into a horizontal google ad banner?

The second thing that I'll add is again picking on those hyperlinks on the side. It's probably me being little picky due to my strict html training, but I feel that whatever looks like a hyperlink should act like a hyperlink, and yet these look right but go nowhere.

So to the things that I haven't mentioned. The spelling mistakes in there are supposed to be in there. The only reason I'm saying it is I don't want someone to criticise me for not picking that up.

Oh, and one third thing I will say to be ultra picky is the lack of a title. When I browse on my phone I don't have images on, so the lack of a title here would look a little odd when the image doesn't load. Adding a title in would not negatively impact the overall appearance, as it would be behind the UnLyrics logo anyway.

Images: 10 It's just the one image, but that is fantastic, and any further images would weaken the overall article.
Miscellaneous: 9 Overall score of the work
Final Score: 47 There's not much point in me having done this review, given that it is already slated to feature, except that I didn't get round to voting on this when it was in VFH, and I feel guilty for the lapse. My vote would have made minimal impact though, so that makes me feel better. This is a brilliant example of how simple can be funny, but by the same token it isn't easy.
