I'll do it, I suppose. Should probably get experiance doing these things.--Striker2117 17:40, April 24, 2010 (UTC)
Humour: | 9.5 | Generally I liked the humor of this page. The blue-ringed octopus in lieu of an alligator was a nice touch, as was the idea of selling "sin" instead of drugs to catch criminals. The only place where the humor seems to be lost is in a few unclear lines such as "Her own father, one of the heroes, Farook, burned a young Saudi woman who had converted to Christianity to death" is sort of unclear as to who burned whom and why. Besides a couple of those sorts of things, the rest is great. |
Concept: | 10 | Liked the idea of a Saudi spin-off of Miami Vice and translating all the American aspects of the show into ideas that would be more typically Saudi in nature. Loved the "Differences" and "Show Highlights" sections. The concept is all there, and perfect. |
Prose and formatting: | 8.5 | Some minor "errors" which may be more on the part of the reader's ability to not understand what you mean than actually bad grammar. The only real things that I couldn't grasp what exactly they were supposed to mean were the line mentioned above in the humor section, and the struck-through "to" under the "Impact on Style" section. Besides that, however, the rest of the article was rather easy to read and understand. |
Images: | 9.5 | Liked all three of them, as they seemed to fit in well with the article. The only thing I could see causing some confusion is the "Do not touch photograph" on the Blue Ringed Octopus photo, mainly because not everyone knows that they are toxic. I'd suggest (in my fairly inadequate opinion) to make some sort of remark about their toxicity somewhere in the article, preferably near the picture. |
Miscellaneous: | 9.3 | Averaged the preceding scores together. |
Final Score: | 46.8 | Overall, a very funny and interesting parody on Miami Vice, just needs some "tidying up" and it'll be perfect. |
