Cadaver synod[edit source]

Yeah, so, I wrote my first article ever. I was thinking about maybe putting one of those "There's a real article on Wikipedia about this" templates on it? But I don't know how that would be accomplished?? And I'm worried that this article is funny to no one but me??? Soo... will someone read it? It might make you smile, although that might just be gas. It's hard to tell. --Hyperbole 23:26, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Humour: 7 it was pretty funny, definitly made me chuckle, but it needs a little expansion. try to mention the "huge amounts of catholic support" that was recieved or some religiose support. there probably is room for domestic cadaver synod: divorce/marriage after death. there's alot of potential for that sort of thing, don't weigh those extra cases down in too much detail though, just do an in general sorta thing.
Concept: 9 really quite brilliant actually! Bill Clinton isn't dead and Al Gore isn't made of soap, kinda random but hillariously so and most importantly consistant. the idea of being convicted after death is just brilliantly backwards (trust the catholics). and you did it without employing the, all too obvious, Zombie (though that could have worked out but not nearly as original).
Prose and formatting: 7 your 'story telling' (for want of a better phrase) was very good but it kinda felt like you abandoned the article before finishing and so needs a better conclusion. things like a "see also" section are good ways to round off articles but as well as that mention that "Cadaver synod cases have actually become very popular in america recently" with "victims trying there would be rapists/burglars ect after killing them in 'self defence'" and then the cadavers appealing makes it more farcical. also you wanted to know how to add a wikipedia template to the page (a good idea considering the original article is a bit obscure), simply add
{{wikipedia}}

at the top of the article. though there are other variations of the template this is the one i use. shop around if you like.

your introduction was actually very good too as it set it up nicly being informative enough so people know what's going on and can get the joke with out wikipedia (although it's nice to have the wikipedia template for those curious about information (laugh and learn)).

Images: 0 none. Although for a price i could imagine i'd seen images. seriously though, the obvious thing to do is get a post mortem picture and a popular-court-room-drama picture and fuse the two. and maybe another similarly cadaver oreintated pic (though you can't have my passport photo),
Miscellaneous: 5.75 (averaged other feilds) no in jokes! congratulations, you don't need to rely on the decaying ruin of a ambiguously funny joke. i mean that seriously
Final Score: 28.75 don't be discouraged by the low score! this article has pleanty of potnetial and it's only the lack of images that really let you down. go request pictures if you have something in mind but can't photoshop or find it. if you wanna ask me about anything or insult me or just simply thank me go to my talk page.

Shit! did i not save this? had it done hours ago, really sory.
