Mr. Clark W. Griswold...
I found an article for UnNews. I was supposed to deliver it last month, but it fell between the seats, and I didn't see it. I'm sorry. |
UNNEWS, The Internet -- UnNews is sad to learn that groundbreaking comedian Garry Shandling -- best known for It's Garry Shandling's Show and, most notably, the legendary HBO fake talk show The Larry Sanders Show -- has died. He was 66.
Shandling had called 911 for an undisclosed medical emergency and collapsed. Paramedics found him dead. Doctors are suggesting that he may have suffered a "sudden massive heart attack."
2016 has been a tough year for celebrity deaths. What worse way to kick off the year than for David Bowie to die just days after releasing his latest album on his 69th birthday? Then, Alan Rickman, another British dude, also dies of cancer at 69 in January. (Taking method acting a bit too far?)
[Since this article's original deadline, Prince has died, which has been tough on everyone here at UnNews. - Ed.]
Let us fondly remember Mr. Shandling for the great gift of comedy he gave us... and that hilarious cameo in Iron Man 2.
