Most of the quotes should be taken out because they are just stupid. I really like the pic, though.

Temporary repairs

OK. For the time being, I've attempted to put the lists into some kind of order. Won't help with vandalism/poor additions etc, but at least gives the top of the article a bit of direction and flow. BTW, I got exactly what I expected when I clicked onto the page - a badly-edited list of ur mom jokes from a huge variety of sources, some good, most bad! I expected nothing better on this particular page; standards gotta slip occasionally, right?

Um, it's a bunch of quotes and a bunch of lists. All of which are too long. A couple of quotes is the max, and six is the magic number for the number of things on a list. More to the point; lists and quotes are bad. They encourage people to add more poorly thought out quotes/list items. Rewrite

I've put {{rewrite|hard}} on this article as it is nothing but a collection of quotes, (bad) jokes, and pics; nothing else (except some unfunny cruft). I've asked Ljlego to rewrite it for us, as I think he's a great writer, and he's accepted, and will get on it as soon as he's finished with Chuck Norris. The rewrite made it infinitely more legible, but also boring. It's trying too hard be a real article when the words "your mom" are rarely based actual women. The old version was a festering pile of dogshit, which is what I expect to find when I open an article on "your mom". At the very least it could be more like Your Dad, focusing on disinformation, which is the whole point of this wiki anyway. Otherwise, it'll probably degenerate into a garbage dump again, and the rewrite will be completely wasted. Spannu 10:49, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
