comment This might do well with a retitle, giving the equation some subtler name, such as "The _____ Theorem" --monika 18:48, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

Comment Yes, but would you actually vote for it if it had a different title, or just like it slightly better? -- §. | WotM | PLS | T | C | A 19:44, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
comment If it had the different title, and the appropriate changes to the content, I'd probably vote for it, or at least retract the against. --monika 19:47, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
Comment A different title? Like what? "Your Mom Theorem"? --EMC [TALK] 19:52, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
comment Yeah, something like that. (And perhaps this should be taken to the discussion page...) --monika 19:56, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
Eh, I don't really want to change the title. The basis of this article is not that it's some abstract, deep mathematical theorem, but just some random sputtering by a madman that at first sounds nonsensical but turns out to be an actual, solvable equation. -- §. | WotM | PLS | T | C | A
And for that, I like it. --EMC [TALK] 20:39, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

From Pee Review[edit source]

I made this a while ago, and I still like it. But will the world? -- §. | WotM | PLS | T | C | A 06:23, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

Humour: 6 Funny, but kind of mainstream. Not "jumps off the page and bites your nose" funny.
Concept: 2 This is the biggest problem. The person sees "The Quantity 2 plus 4 times y = Your Mom" and goes "Oh, haha, I guess." Your mom jokes are one-liners, pulling it off as an article will take some doing.
Prose and formatting: 7 Up to your usual standards, although I find it a little rambling.
Images: 7 The first image is by far the best.
Miscellaneous: 5 Eh. Maybe it's just not my kind of humor. Somehow it's difficult to follow it through from top to bottom.
Final Score: 27 27

Wait a minute...[edit source]

how does (1)(1)(1)(1)(1)(1)= 6? This was almost an accurate equation, too. It's still a hilarious article, though. --Luigifan14 06:31, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
