Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, also known as Sakuta's Bizarre Relations, is a Japanese manga I mean light novel I mean anime series about a certified one of us who is somehow the second-most glazeable character in all of fiction. The manga is apparently written and illustrated by two dudes in their basement who only made the series a wee bit weird for the sole purpose of selling more copies.

Also, there's like 1 season, then 3 movies, then another season, then wait, what do you mean there's something after that?

Premise[edit | edit source]

Okay, so imagine you're in a library, browsing through said library's book selection that just so happens to be organized using a certain decimal thingy system, when out of the corner of your eye, you spot a girl wearing a bunny girl outfit. Said girl tries to talk to you, and you, not stopping to think about whether you forgot to take your schizophrenia meds today, respond. The girl is an actress who goes to your high school, and when you find out that most people are unable to see her, you are somehow able to resist the overbearing urge to yell the lyrics to Invisible by Duran Duran because, of course, the person you're talking to is a woman.

The reason the actress has become invisible is a little something called Puberty Syndrome, which basically causes people (almost always women for some reason. Hmmm...) to break spacetime in ways that somehow always conform to the various theories and concepts of quantum physics.

Now, you get/have to solve the Puberty Syndrome cases of basically every woman you ever manage to talk to (Which isn't a whole lot of women. That's your fault. Go talk to more women.)

Characters[edit | edit source]

What is up my dudes (!!!)[edit | edit source]

Sakuta (Everyone's GOAT)[edit | edit source]

Sakuta is the protagonist and the titular Rascal of the series. His singular notable character trait is that he sexualizes women every chance he gets, which the women he talks to are somehow fine with??? What are they, Japanese or something???

Also, by the way, Sakuta has his own Uncyclopedia article with more information!

What do you mean the article's gone?

Kunimi[edit | edit source]

Kunimi is a chill guy. I will not speak a word of slander against him.

Heh. Women.[edit | edit source]

Mai Sakurajima[edit | edit source]

Mai basically became Sakuta's girlfriend faster than you and I can get a girlfriend ourselves. She is around 1 year older than Sakuta and is very important to the plot (veeeeeeery important.).

Ah yes, a certified Republican.

Tomoe Koga[edit | edit source]

But of course, it's Sakuta's FAVORITE pastime activity!

Contrary to popular belief, Tomoe is actually a sophomore and not a freshman. She also has a very kickable butt. Yeah, they kicked each other's butts once, but can you please stop mentioning that! you're starting to sound perverted-

Futaba Rio[edit | edit source]

Coffee with a side of radiation poisoning. Mmmmm, my favorite...

Futaba is the third pillar of Sakuta, Kunimi, and Futaba's friendship trio. She's a surprise tool that will help us later.

Kaede Azusagawa[edit | edit source]

The child! She's Sakuta's little sister and is also veeeeeeery important to the plot (What's with the letter e today?).

Makinohara Shoko[edit | edit source]

The MVW (Most Valuable Woman) of Bunny Girl Senpai! She's the one who inspires Sakuta (to become a gooner) after Kaede loses her memories. Also, there's a little grill girl version of her for some reason.

Nodoka[edit | edit source]

Mai's sister. Her fans love Idolatry.

The other women characters[edit | edit source]

I'm too lazy to watch the whole anime and finish this section, can someone do it for me?

Major arcs and plot points[edit | edit source]

Season 1[edit | edit source]

The Mai Sakurajima Arc (The Bunny Girl Arc / Schrödinger's Mai)[edit | edit source]

Okay, now imagine you've just ran all the way to the Japanese school courtyard, and you then confess your feelings for the bunny girl from earlier. Now imagine that the bunny girl turns into a very visible Big Boss and gives you a slap to the face that could blow up the entire Tri-

State-

Areaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!

The Tomoe Koga Arc (Laplace's Tomoe)[edit | edit source]

Okay, now imagine you're in the movie Groundhog Day (you know, the one with the time loop) but you are of course a Japanese high schooler who's just now beginning to learn the mere basics of quantum physics. Now imagine that the person causing the time loop is trying to escape getting touched by the local Senior. (Sheesh, what is it with Tomoe and kid-touchers?) Now, imagine that the two of you are essentially forced to pretend to date each other for maybe 3 weeks, but then you end up stuck in yet another time loop because Tomoe developed feelings for you. Now, imagine that everything that just happened never actually happened because you, of course, have Schizophrenia.

The Futaba Arc (Quantum Futeleportation)[edit | edit source]

Okay, now imagine you're dealing with clones. Two Futabas. Two women to teach you quantum physics. What can go wrong? Thing is that she wants to be noticed and loved by our goat Kunimi, but... KUNIMI ALREADY HAS A GIRLFRIEND! So she chose another way of getting attention: posting lewd pictures on social media under a different name (Sakuta's dream). Now, imagine you have two Futabas to deal with: one who hates showing off and one desperate for attention. What would you do?

That's RIGHT! You WOULD invite her and you SHOULD invite her to participate in a fireworks celebration with Kunimi! 100 points to you! So, Sakuta deletes the account and goes with the two to celebrate! Futaba confesses to Kunimi and asks him not to say anything back. It's good. It's happy.

The Nodoka Arc (Quantum Nodeleportation)[edit | edit source]

Okay, now imagine your girlfriend (you don't have one so this is entirely hypothetical) has swapped bodies with someone else who just so happens to be her sister. Her sister of course, has a wee bit of an inferiority complex. Now imagine that your girlfriend is doing singing instead of acting and your girlfriend's sister is doing acting instead of singing. Here's the fun part: funny paper noise!

The Kaede Arc (Sister Levelling Arc / Dissociative Identity Disorder)[edit | edit source]

Okay, now imagine your sister (hypothetical or otherwise) hasn't been able to go outside for the past 2 years, which is funny because you probably don't go outside either, but you actually can, unlike Kaede! Therefore, go forth! Go outside! Touch grass! Shower! Bonus points if you rub the grass aggressively! Imagining it doesn't count!

Movies 1-3[edit | edit source]

The Shoko Arc (The girl is dreaming! I can't believe it because I have schizophrenia!)[edit | edit source]

the wound is real, but it is imaginary because it exists but also does not exist because it existed but now doesn't exist but also exists for someone else but doesn't exist for that person now either, and the wound existed for another person but doesn't now because the wound existed for the other person who does not have the wound now who also raised awareness for wounds like the wound wound. Ya know what i mean?

Adding more after watching the movie.
