I don't know what these "words" mean. But I know somebody who might know. Pieface

Internal use within MediaWiki, during parsing of wiki text to HTML. UNIQ followed by a random (unique) number followed by UNIQ inverted flags a point in the text where something was supposed to automatically be inserted later - such as output from a parser extension?
