Forum:Is there a way to link to a random article?
Well is there? :) Aaadddaaammm 09:46, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
- Or <choose><option>Main_Page</option><option>Your mom</option><option>Blah</option></choose>. --Splaka 05:13, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

- Geez, if you're gonna do that, just use Special:Random. You can also do parameters! Like: Special:Random/user or Special:Random/template. Heck, you could make a template to link to all of them in a <choose>, in fact, I just did it! Randompage produces: Image. produces Wilde talk. How lame, yay. --Splaka 00:15, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
- Had another idea, to link to a random curid (which go up to 150,000 currently, and as we only have 78k total pages, that means it'd get almost a 50% chance of hitting a deleted page). However, <choose> can't be included in an external url for some reason, eg: https://en.uncyclopedia.co/w/index.php?title=-&curid=_'"`UNIQ--choose-00000023-QINU`"'_ (and putting it in a urlencode or other type of cheat causes a parse error, a limitation of such extensions). Anyway, I'll post the nonworking code below --Splaka 00:41, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
[ rand]
- OK at Special:Allpages is there a way to show all the articles on one page instead of breaking them up into sections?
- Nope. Good thing, too! --Splaka 06:03, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
