I love my cheesy and badly edited (even for me) creation Image:Saddam3.jpg. I originally created it to e-mail to friends in 2000, when I was still very new to photo editing software and posted it here, as is, because I find a certain humor in the obviously amateur edit job as well as the contention that the composite sketch is Saddam Hussein, even though the man in the sketch only vaguely resembles him. But I recently learned that Molly Bish was, in reality, found dead in 2003[1]. Though I am usually a staunch defender of tastless humor I wonder if this goes to far and if I should request that it be deleted. Any thoughts? --Naughtius Maximus F@H Woof! I don't really find that it "crosses the line" for me personally, because as you look at the image you don't have the meta-knowlage of Molly Bish's death, unless you read the end of what Naughtyned said before clicking the image link. I can see how some people might see this image as going a bit to far, but then again, how do we know that these guys havn't come back home in coffins? Is four years long enough? I dunno. Did that help? Or, to be more helpful; it's your pic, it's your choice. Most of the rest of us had no idea who she was. Thanks for the input. I do like this and don't really want it deleted. I was just concerned about what the reaction of a relative of Molly Bish would be. But what Zombiebaron pointed out about Image:Canadian Soldiers.jpg is relevant. That pic would be much more offensive to their relatives if any them came home dead, since arguably they were the butt of the joke, while with my pic the joke really has nothing to with Bish herself but is all about her kidnapper and how he (vaguely) looks like Saddam.
