I threw together a logo for today. If I'm around at midnight I'll upload it to image:Wiki.png, if not someone else can do it. I had another version that more directly parodied the Jolly Roger, with curly fries instead of bones, but it didn't look right. Arrr. --—rc (t) 04:49, 19 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Gv? I love this page, but what does Gv mean?--Surreal Hamster

It's the ISO code for the Manx language, Manxmen (from the Isle of Man) had a reputation (amongst the british at least) as pirates.--The Right Honourable Maj Sir Elvis UmP KUN FIC MDA VFH Bur. CM and bars UGM F@H (Petition) 23:59, 23 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Excuse me?[edit source]

If you're going to make a Manx wiki, use the actual language. It deserves to be taken seriously as much as any other. If you want a piratespeak wiki, use a different code at least... Llwy (scold|hover) 13:31, 12 May 2013 (UTC)

See Manx Wikipedia for an idea of just how different 'piratespeak' is from Manx. I am going to request wikis for the other 4 Celtic languages (Manx, Scottish Gaelic, Cornish and Breton). This doesn't count at all. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talkcontribslogs) Uncyclopedia is a community site that anyone can contribute to. Discover, share and add your knowledge!
