6. I think it's fairly obvious that this new image is congruous with Wikipedia's new logo, however, that new logo came in with Vector. Whilst I do like the logo, we should switch to Vector and take this logo along with it.    This is congruous to their old logo before they switched vector - that one was much more depthiful, and then they adopted the rather flat one they currently have. In that vein, this is not the one intended for the vector reskin, but y'all can argue over that later. 1234 ~ 00:44, 30 May 2011

5. The "old" one, which we are talking about only because Lytheira fucked up something, at least has some colour and is happier. They all look like eggs, because of the cracking on top. None of them look like a potato. A potato has a texture of different colours. It has indentions where the "eyes" grow. None of these are potatoes, they are all eggs, just some more bleached out than the others. I think there is a rush towards a new skin which will do the site harm, and a bad looking logo to go along with it. Something something prickling in my thumbs, something wicked this way comes. The favicon

Compromise logo

I like the old main potato, but at a minimum, people who cared enough try and stop the changes at least voted for the compromise logo. This bland whitish horrible bland logo that's up now (and maybe the coming changes in our skin and whatever else is being discussed by a few people) is so blah that it is blaher than blah. I repeats, if any consensus was reached by a half dozen people, it was to use the compromise logo and not the white washed out logo. Where's Alex Jones when we need him? Aleister 21:29 2-6-'11

I'm so hesitant to see it go - this one actually makes me think potato :( My first time on here, I had no idea what the logo was meant to be because it was so orange-y. Also fine with me. I must say, the old logo spread a kind of brownish orangey colour throughout the pages. The new logo works well, especially with the Vector skin; it makes everything look a lot more sleek and stylish. EpicAwesomeness (talk) 08:33, June 5, 2011 (UTC)
