I think UnNews has gone far too long without it's own inaccurate, unreliable biased and off-the-wall unscientific polling branch. Perhaps Uncyclopedia should put up a web poll or people make up UnStatistics or something? What do you all think? --Nerd42eMailTalkUnMetaWPediah2g2 15:40, 31 March 2006 (UTC)

Does wikinews have polls?--The Right Honourable Maj Sir Elvis UmP KUN FIC MDA VFH Bur. CM and bars UGM F@H (Petition) 15:58, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
No but we aren't wikinews are we. And I don't think wikinews has stock tips. --Nerd42eMailTalkUnMetaWPediah2g2 14:18, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
As soon as anyone finds an easy way to do poll with WikiML, go ahead. >_> --User:Nintendorulez 15:52, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
We could just make up statistics. (The percentage of illiterate people in the most recent United States census was 103.5%) --Nerd42eMailTalkUnMetaWPediah2g2 17:10, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
I dunno. I'd try to go as much for the mirror effect as possible. Unless the polls add significant humor value, there's no real point in adding them. I fear they may end up as lame throwaways and witless nonsequiturs.--Shrooms.jpgShroom!.gifGay2.gifSir Flammable KUN Prince!.gif (Na Naaaaa...)Gay2.gifShroom!.gifShroomirror.jpg 18:52, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

Polls are better suited for articles, like ones including false research. If there is just a poll it probably will not be funny. ~Sir Rangeley Icons-flag-us.png GUN WotM UotM EGA +S (talk) 19:02, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

Unfortunately, the "did you know that 53.4% of statistics are made up" concept has already been done to death, and wasn't terribly funny after the first hundred or so attempts. To print two (or more) diametrically-opposed viewpoints (such as the old Airplane movie in which a PBS-style broadcast maintains its neutrality by finding someone to argue in favour of the plane crash "they knew the odds, they decided to fly, let them die") may work. The numbers, however, add little or nothing of value in most cases. --Carlb 13:41, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

OK, it was just an idea. --Nerd42eMailTalkUnMetaWPediah2g2 16:45, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
I eagerly await "in favour of cancer porn" and "in favour of Holocaust Tycoon" - David Gerard 14:46, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
I'm sorry, but are you being sarcastic or serious? I honestly can't tell. --Nerd42eMailTalkUnMetaWPediah2g2 16:17, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

Maybe a thing called "UnPredictable" to keep track of insane predictions about the future. --Nerd42eMailTalkUnMetaWPediah2g2 14:06, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
