At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Uncyclomancer/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.

If the current colonization doesn't suit your fancy, then browse our rewrite and idea categories. We have lots of articles just sitting around for someone to improve, so don't be afraid - dive right in!

Good to see you here. Thanks for your note on my page, and I'm glad you appreciated the gif I discovered on random pages and brought to my page. What it concerns is something you may be experiencing. When you log in, does your main page have a moving ad gif, and are their ads alongside the left half of your pages? Some of us are concerned about these things which are showing up on some new user pages and some older pages of users who haven't logged in for awhile. What does your page look like? I noticed you said you had a sock puppet to Spike. The admins don't like people here with sock puppets, especially if they start voting in favour or against an article. It is possible to change it completely, speak to Sannse who is a member of Wikia staff and only they can change usernames. Before you do that you need to read this and understand it. Or you can do as you suggest above, make sure you do not use your old account again without telling an admin if you do choose to do this, because if you abuse it or appear to be abusing it, both accounts will be blocked. Banning

Since I had unofficially adopted you Uncyclomancer, redirects are a no-no. Serve the one day ban and try NOT logging in here with another name or using sockpuppets in the meantime. If you still want to write stuff, create an account at the sister website www.illogicopedia.com. The humour there is a bit different from here but you can work on articles in your user space there. Many uncyclopedians have accounts in there as well (as I do).
