Welcome![edit source]

Hello, Skeetdemon, and welcome to Uncyclopedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If not, the door's right over there... no, a little more to your left... yeah. Anyway, here are a few good links for people like you:

If you read anything at all, make it the above three links. If you want to find out more about Uncyclopedia or need more help with something, try these:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being an Uncyclopedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~) or use the "sign" button (Button sig.png) above the edit box. This will automatically produce your name and the date.

At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Skeetdemon/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.

If the current colonization doesn't suit your fancy, then browse our rewrite and idea categories. We have lots of articles just sitting around for someone to improve, so don't be afraid - dive right in!

If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. Simply leave a message on an adopter's talkpage to join. Again, welcome!  -- The Zombiebaron 19:42, February 17, 2012 (UTC)

Jeremy Lin[edit source]

Hi Skeet! Thanks for contributing to our wonderful 'pedia, and for gracing my everso-lonely talkpage with your presence. I just read through your article and I think I have a few tips. Are you sitting comfortably? Good, let's do this.

First of all, I have to say that your article is sorta confusing. I personally don't know who Jeremy Lin is, and found it hard to gleam anything about him from what you've written there. I figured he was either a basketball player or a member of NWA? To combat this I would recommend you try to introduce your subject better: write an introduction that explains clearly who he is and why we should read about him (you can include jokes too, of course!)

Another thing I would suggest is not being too random. Random humour can work but it has to be consistent and intelligent. Generally speaking, the truth (or an exaggerated version of the truth) is funnier than made-up nonsense. A few really good articles that satirise real people are Keanu Reeves, Vladimir Putin and Robert De Niro. Give them a read, I strongly recommend all three of them.

Anyway, overall I'd like to say good work so far. You clearly have a lot of ideas and I'd love to see you tidy them up into something a bit more consistent. Hope you stick around and enjoy the site! And most importantly, don't let my overly-long rambling criticisms put you off!

Ah, very good points. I just assume everyone knows who Jeremy Lin is, I'll introduce it better. As well, if you could, point out what seems way too random if you could. I have a bad habit of just throwing down what is in my mind, which is random. Thanks again --Skeetdemon 00:31, February 18, 2012 (UTC)

Jeremy is seen here calculating how much velocity the ball will have when he slams it in. Oh wait, he graduated in economics? Well he knows that slam is going to be good for his financial future

Hello! You must be the guy that was editing under an IP name who I sent a message to about Lin. Welcome! As I understand, you have trouble uploading pics. Another n00b had that problem yesterday, and I answered to him on his talkpage: User talk:Rainchild It's the conversation at the bottom, I think it may help you as well! He hasn't answered yet, so maybe he committed suicide trying... Let me know if you still don't get it, I'll add some for you! :) I was like you when I first joined. You'll see, it's pretty simple once you know how to do it. Talk Mattsnow 04:08, February 18, 2012 (UTC)

Hey, thanks man, I'll check that out, any advice you have is much welcomed.--Skeetdemon 04:11, February 18, 2012 (UTC)

LOL, first thing first, put a ":" at the beginning of your message to create a space with the previous one :) Talk Mattsnow 04:22, February 18, 2012 (UTC)

I see you've uploaded some pics, great job! The toughest part is done. That was the part that would have been kinda long to explain. It's fairly easy from now on, just go in the edit section here to see how I magically made the pic appear. The "px" thing determines how big the pic is gonna be. It can't be bigger than the size of the pic you've downloaded on your PC, so if you want a big one here, gotta download a big one. If you are wondering why I know you uploaded this, it's because there is a "recent changes" link on the left of the screen on any pages to see any changes happening on the wiki. BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING US ALL! Talk Mattsnow 05:39, February 18, 2012 (UTC)
Thanks so much man, i was trying to figure out how to change the size. You are truly a fantastic little troll. How much does it cost to cross your bridge?--Skeetdemon 05:49, February 18, 2012 (UTC)

Pee review[edit source]

If you want to get a review for Jeremy Lin, as the template indicated (and you indeed should; the things can be useful), go to the reviews page, scroll down to the bottom, and enter the page title, in this case 'Jeremy Lin', into the box that says Create entry. It should just work from there. Hope that helps, if not just say. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy.png 16:54, 4 March 2012
