Wrestling pages[edit source]

Clearly you are making these wrestling pages a little cleaner, and I presume your user name means wrestling is why you are here. Would you please take on the larger task of also getting rid of the parts of these articles that just throw out random stuff and drive-by insults, and try to make these pages funny to people who aren't wrestling fans? Thanks. Spıke ¬ 10:32 16-Jun-12

- I assume you will be reading this since I'm editing your original post. Yes, I'm a big wrestling fan and I enjoy cleaning these pages up. In my spare time I will clean these up and hopefully learn how to use these wiki websites with more expertise. Thanks very much for your message. --NWo370 (talk) 05:27, June 17, 2012 (UTC)

Yes, editing the post is how we communicate. But now I'm "unwatching you" so I don't get notified of every change to your page. If you have more questions, come to my page (or the Chief's). Spıke ¬ 11:48 17-Jun-12

Wrestling with pages[edit source]

Hi. Like SPIKE I have noticed you cleaning up the pages on wrestling and you're doing a decent job, the wrestling pages are in dire need of repair and it's good to see someone working at them, it's good work. Just a quick suggestion: make sure you put in edit summaries when you remove whole sections from an article. I realise it may be evident to you having read the section that it needs to come out and there is nothing wrong with removing it. What removing it does do is trigger a message on recent changes for other users reporting that the section has been blanked something vandals, for reasons best known to themselves, seem to enjoy doing. This prompts the active users who are patrolling for vandalism to go to the page and decide whether or not to revert the edit. If you just add an edit summary when removing whole sections (something along the lines of "removing unfunny section as part of clean-up") it won't stop the message, but it will let the users who check it know that you are editing the article for reasons other than just blanking parts of it. I hope that all makes sense. --ChiefjusticeXBox360 08:14, June 17, 2012 (UTC)

- Thanks very much. Yeah, I'm new to the whole wiki-editing thing. I will keep it in mind to put a summary of why I'm erasing said article. Thanks again for all the praise you guys give me, I'll keep it up. --NWo370 (talk) 08:21, June 17, 2012 (UTC)
