AI article[edit source]
Hey so I've seen you've removed the "written by an AI template" from your Midway on High article. My question is, is it because it wasn't written by AI, or is it that you removed the sentences you wrote using AI? And since I'm asking you this, are your other articles that are tagged as "written by AI" as well a mere misunderstanding, or are they actually written by AI too? - Hey Dani - I did use AI to help me write part of the first rendition of the Midway article, but I have removed and/or significantly modified nearly all of the sentences which were written using AI. I have used AI in the past to give more context to articles, but I'm actively cutting down on using it ever since I first saw the template made, and I am trying to either rewrite or significantly modify content written using AI in the past. I do, however, believe that in the context of certain articles where AI is part of a joke (see the specifically labeled section of HowTo:Snitch on a shooter, that it can be useful towards conveying humor, and that tagging it because of AI presence alone without reading the context is a step too far in that direction. Sadly, my schedule is kind of clogged outside of Uncyclopedia, so I can't get to stuff as often as I would like to, but do note that it is an active effort of mine. Since I've seen you've came back you might want to know that a lot of your articles got deleted in this year's forest fire week, as there were a lot of them which seemed to be AI-generated, which since the 14th of February 2025 goes against the AI policy.
