l ragazzo nella scuola degli animali (otherwise known as My Gym Partner's a Monkey in the English cartoon adaptation) is a 1940s Italian fantasy sitcom stageplay written by the young Italian-fascist-teachers Jullia d'Thillia and Timmolini d'Thillia. Being greedy, cash-hungry, and on the decline, Cartoon Network saw this stageplay, and immediately capitalized upon it in the year 2005, tasking creators Julie McNally and Timothy Cahill to create the american fuckfest cartoon we know it for today.

Plots

The original play revolves around the story of a young boy, named Adamo Leone, whom used to attend Opera Nazionale Balilla, until the board deemed the boy to be "too animalistic", forcing the young boy to be sent to Opera Nazionale Animale. Whilst attending the fascist educational retraining facility, the boy meets a young Spidermonkey named Jakollini, and his other animal friends, who learn to succumb to their great fascist teachers, and take over Europe as monarchs.

Whereas the original play is awesome and historical, the stupid, dumbed-down Americanized cartoon show is not. The American "adaptation" stars a young boy named Adam Lyon, who attends a regular school made for humans, but due to a gramatical name error (His last name being changed to "Lion"), Adam is sent to an all-animal school, where he befriends Jake Spidermonkey, and learns to get used to attending a school for only animals.

Characters

Adam Lyon (Adamo Leone) - The main character of the play and the cartoon. A young boy who has ambitions but is annoyed by being in an animal school but also tries to be a member of society.

Jake Spidermonkey (Jakollini Spidermonkey) - A very hyperactive Spidermonkey and best friends to the young boy. Has a strange admiration for his own ass, which he surely makes out with every day.

Windsor Gorilla (Winsiporo Scimmia) - A wise gorilla who talks smart and gives advice, except when he can't get laid.

Slips Python (Scivoli Serpente) - A laid-back, chill guy green tree python who is usually a sidekick to Windsor.

Ingrid Giraffe (Igolia Giraffa) - A crazy, lovey-dovey giraffe who crushes on the young boy and wants his affection.

Lupe Toucan (Lupolla Tucano) - A sassy, antagonistic, Chicano keel billed toucan who wants all the attention no matter what it takes.

What The Cartoon Does Wrong That The Play Does Right

The cartoon adaptation of this beloved play does a lot wrong. Let's list the reasons, shall we?

1. All fascism removed to make the cartoon kid-friendly.
2. Relies too heavily on potty humor and butt jokes.
3. Plot of the whole show is fucking stupid.
4. Animals are not friendly and would have totally killed Adam.
