Because I am (unfortunately) very familiar with the work of Mr. Thoreau, I'll try and give this a look sometime soon. I'd also feel bad if I won RotM in a month where I only did one review, so yeah. Humour:	7	I found portions of this to actually be very funny. I particularly liked the section about Walden Pond. However, I literally shook my head when i read the back-to-back star wars and monty python references. They do not fit the tone of the article and are like curve balls being thrown not to home plate but into the outfield stands. I would completely get rid of those, I honestly think they detract from the article. Unless I am mistaken about the identity of this particular Calhoun, I also think this name needs to be changed since John Calhoun is an actual historical figure that is recognizable. You seem to be going for realistic and sarcastic humor here rather than just silliness, so changing Calhoun's name would be good too.
Concept:	9	I really like it when people do articles on actual people and concepts and make the article more of a satire than an actual "lololololozzzzzzz 4chan" spooge fest.
Prose and formatting:	8	very good encyclopedic sort of feel to it. I would use synonyms for "workers" in the end sections though.
Images:	6	i like the fact that you have two images, and the second one is funny, but you have to stare at it to get the joke. edit the picture so that the lines are bolder and/or change the color to something like red to grab the readers attention. good captions.
Miscellaneous:	7	The feel of this article is good, but I think you should create just a little more content at the end; it kind of just drops off and pitters out.
Final Score:	37	very good base, a keeper of an article. Those little improvements I suggested would make this a 40 scored article imo, but that's just me, take my opinion for what it is: a random internet citizens stupid suggestions.

I will try to implement most of your suggestions. Unfortunately, I cannot utilize the image suggestions as the photo is glitched; when you try to edit it with MS paint, all colors are in varying shades of gray. Do you know how to fix this?--Psychokitten 19:00, October 19, 2009 (UTC)
