So yeah, I had the idea, and got going on it, then MrN came in and did most of the work, and now I've made more tweaks and mainspaced it. Thoughts? --UU - natter 11:44, Oct 17

Humour:	9	Brilliant stuff. While it's not rightfully epic, as well as 'fish puns' not striking me as a general knowledge article, it still left me in stitches. The finish to the article on horse-puns was the icing of the cake. Although, I will say I am one for word play as a fish is to water (no pun intended), and the article is of sophisticated, upper class, snotty nosed humour (about six blokes in Oxford going "heh"). It's not gracefully obvious a humourous concept for some of the "special" readers, but it more than works for me.
Concept:	9	It's an excellent concept. Such a good concept, it's one of the few articles on Uncyclopedia that actually leave me a little bit wiser in comedy. Goes in line with some of the out-of-the-box ideas that Uncyclopedia is deservant of very well, although my only afterthought is that it's a joke article about a joke, self-awareness is common with some decent articles in Uncyclopedia, but when it's about puns, it's not as effective.
Prose and formatting:	10	The prose perches upon it's subject like a bream. The format is superb and very much in line with the article. Again, nothing more I can suggest.
Images:	8	Given the poorest grade, but being honest, the bass player image isn't a word play related fish pun and I've seen it in various other articles on Uncyclopedia. The next image is a cartoon and it does have relevance to the word play subject, but the downside is that it isn't a self-made image, neither is the image of 'fish buns' (noting the fair use policy tagged with the image). The pony photo is relevant and well placed. However, the images are obviously excellent and my dramatic tiff with them is but a chip on the shoulder of a cod. The captions are also very good.
Miscellaneous:	9	I even reread the article to see if I couldn't implement fish puns into my everyday speech. Nothing more I could suggest.
Final Score:	45	Not much I can really suggest to make this better, nor do I think it's actually possible, it's probably at the end of it's tether in terms of comedic promise, but at least the concept had a long piece of tether to start with. I suppose the only thorns are that the image of the "bass player" is used in other articles, and that sort of thing makes me cringe to see the image being used again. However, an excellent article and, I think, worthy for a featured article nomination (for anyone who wants to nominate it).
