Correspondence with my Pen-Pal[edit source]

This is excelent but I'll review it anyway, just as helpful to get positive feedback as it is constructive criticism, in my opinion.    Orian57    Talk   Union pink.jpg 03:50 13 October 2009

That was a charming read! At the start, I was asking myself why I cared, and by halfway, I was locked in. A page-turner. It's funny throughout, though the need to maintain the format of pen-pal correspondence creates a few gaps between intensely funny parts. I know what the style guide says about using the right number of links, but for an article that purports to be correspondence, the right number is 0; the links detract. The photos are fun, and the captions are essential, but they raise the question of whether they were in the envelope. The photo of the blonde is fun, but isn't Eira supposed to be too guileless for such a game? The letter from the motel is very odd, and you try to deal with it. Don't take these consistency quibbles too seriously, because overall, the piece hangs together well and, again, is a charming read. A bigger question: How does it fit into an Uncyclopedia? and what article would ever link to it? Spıke ¬  04:47, October 16, 2009 (UTC)

Humour: 6 The humor is good, but the article isn't constantly funny--sometimes dictated by the format you chose.
Concept: 8 Witty and charming. A few nagging inconsistencies. But do you realize this claims to be an encyclopedia?!
Prose and formatting: 7 I don't like the use of links in what purports to be personal letters.
Images: 8 Good way to break up the article and keep me flipping pages. The photo of the convict is hideous! but I guess it has to be.
Miscellaneous: 5
Final Score: 34 Don't take my number grades too seriously. I reviewed the article last night in prose (above) and am filling out this form merely to complete the review process.
