I think it might look "unbalanced" only because we're used to all 3 stories being on the left side; over all I think it does look better in the Beta - good job Olipro. And copying wikienews exactly is always fun ;) --Composure1 19:48, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

I know this is truer to the way wikinews does it, but I would like to see all top 3 stories get good billing. This might be less vital if the top story was hand picked, but now it is just the most recent one, so it can easily knock a better piece down below the scroll. ---Rev. Well, if you're really paramount on some level of equality, we could cycle the articles round within some given time frame... but otherwise, we could always give it that requirement; so we can just ask people to leave it on a page and we'll argue on IRC and pick it (no point having a vote, it's too slow a process, and too much news comes out, but that's the point) --Olipro Co-Anc (Harass) 20:46, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

Manual selection of the 3 featured stories is best, like we do now, is best I think (and not just because lately I've been setting them to my stories, heh) We definitely don't want good stories to be knocked out of the featured ones by something random or crappy. --Composure1 03:36, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
