Hi Redhot, can you explain why you think this is one of the worst articles on Uncyclopedia, please? --Leverage (talk) 07:14, 2 September 2013 (UTC)
- I just don't think the joke is there, it's trying to understand the parralls between soccer and said Mountain Dew truck but it fails miserably in my opinion; I respect the opinion of those who don't think so and I'm not going to contest them. RedHot (talk) 08:00, 2 September 2013 (UTC)
- Well the joke wasn't about Mountain Dew and parallels, it was making fun of the news that an American died trying to dribble a football to south america, with the suggestion being that it was his bad ball control skills that led to his death. It's not my favourite story, but I don't think it's one of the worst things on the site. I also think deleting UnNews stories will have no positive effect - they don't appear in the site searches, so it doesn't "clean up" the site in any way, instead it will serve only to make contributors (like me, the guy who writes about 70% of the UnNews site) feel attacked. --Leverage (talk) 09:18, 2 September 2013 (UTC)
- This is certainly not one of the worst on the site. I used to do a lot of UnNews and I can tell you RedHot, there are a lot worse articles out there. IFYMB! Talk to me baby! 09:32, 2 September 2013 (UTC)
- RedHot, did you ever read some of the other UnNews on uncyclopedia?

Thought I'd reread this, since I was the lone delete voter in the vfd, and I think I am rather fond of it after all. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 01:50, 26 Jun 2014
